1. New HQ

On 12/05/2014 (eRepublik day 2365) the officials of our great alliance gathered to elect a new Secretary General. Aradjanski Branko, Second Commander of the roaring Lions of Serbia, Lavovi, came forth undisputed in claiming the gallant duty to lead our mighty nations into prosperity and triumphant victory over our foes. To aid him in his demanding quest he chose: Soy Malvinas (Argentina), CornelB (Romania), Bogohulja (Serbia), nikol000 (Serbia), mlena (Slovenia), Sojgu (Serbia), I n f 0 r m e r (Iran) and Asterios C (Greece).

It now rests on their shoulders to organize, coordinate and make public our common struggles and efforts for achieving our potential in mutual understanding and solidarity. It also falls with us all to stand fast by their side as we try our best to uphold our ideals, strengthen the bonds that bind our destinies together and reach for the stars!

2. NAP policies

We acknowledge that Non-Aggression Pacts (NAPs) are an excellent diplomatic tactic and can efficiently disengage valuable resources from strenuous, unfruitful operations; resources that can then be re-allocated more productively. We are glad that our member-states possess the player base with the expertise and persuasive power to perform the delicate balancing act required in bringing about a viable, peaceful solution to their discrepancies with a neighboring nation.

Too many agreements of this sort, however, effectively tie up our hands and severely limit our options in the geopolitical arena. When member-states stand down from military confrontation on their borders en masse they deny the Alliance the opportunity to unleash multi-pronged initiatives against our shared rivals. We are hence deprived of a valuable chance to work together in joint operations sharpening our collective skills and forging our communal identity.

Consequently, we kindly request member-states to run NAP proposals by the Alliance prior to their signing. We most certainly do not wish to interfere with regional politics or undermine national sovereignty in any way, but, since such agreements seriously influence operational capabilities, it is best if the Alliance is informed well in advance so it can use them to its fullest benefit by incorporating the relevant eventualities into its general strategic planning. If perspective NAP agreements appear to be in conflict with allied interests, we prefer the conflict be resolved before said agreements take effect. We call upon our members to exercise caution when negotiating NAPs and always bear in mind the ramifications they may have on alliance firepower and maneuverability. We understand their need to secure their perimeter against a constant threat, but we ask them to trust in their partners in the Alliance to stand by their side in battle when the need to defend their territory arises.

3. Military planning

Our strategists and tacticians have rolled up their sleeves in avid preparation of our future moves on the battlefields around the New World. Through spirited debates and sleepless nights, we formulate a master-plan. We get our priorities straight and set common objectives. We know that the only way for us to be successful in our military endeavors is to continue to act in unison and concord. Daring, yet prudent; decisive, yet controlled. Make no mistake, Asteria is ready!
