[DoE] Meet the Parties - We The People

Day 2,361, 00:41 Published in USA USA by Department of Citizen Affairs

Party plays an vital role in eRepublik and its always advised to become a party member as its a better path for you to reach a better place in ePolitics and also it is one of the best ways to work for your Country. There are many parties in eUSA and you may be confused on which to join, what each of them represent or how they work and many others questions which may arise. So DoE is trying to help you out in this by providing you as much as possible information about all the top Parties in eUSA. We share this information by asking certain questions to two representatives from the parties and publish it.

The party we have chosen for this article is We The People. The same set of questions was asked to both of the party representatives. In choosing representatives, I simply took anyone from the leadership, Congressional members, and other well-known members of the party.

For my WTP Interview, we did a double interview with Disco Musolini and Talostastic.

Disco Musolini and Talostastic

1. Why did you join this Party?

Disco Musolini - I joined We The People as part of the ATO efforts that liberated the party from the AFA. I was 2-clicking and bouncing around parties at the time and ended staying in We The People. When I started becoming more active again, We The People felt like a good home.

Talostastic - I joined WTP back in it's infancy, Post-Republican Liberty Caucus, because my MU was shouting that they needed members to stay in the Top 5. I've stayed for the people, offering my party what I can, when I can.

2. What does this party do for the eUSA as a whole?

Disco Musolini - We The People, in addition to providing a secure party in the Top 5, hopes to increase activity in the eUSA and it’s meta-game. One of the things I liked about We The People is that its forums are hosted on the eUS Forums, meaning that members are halfway to partaking in the rest of the forum fun without a separate registration. We The People also encourages voting the DoD Orders as evidenced by the numerous INSURGIO comments on its articles.

Talostastic - It offered a place for the more "outside" people in the eUS who still wanted a party to support. WTP has a more eclectic brand of members than any other parties. We're terrible at towing the 'Party Line' because we barely have one.

3. What are the main principles that guide your party?

Disco Musolini - We The People is populist at heart and believes in elections to give it’s members a voice. WTP orders its congressional slate according to the results of a party primary election.

Talostastic - Individualism. This goes back to the almost complete lack of a 'Party Line' on many issues. We have members from almost every major Military Unit in the eUSA, people who support the current Work Tax, lowering the Work Tax, open immigration, closed immigration. All things.

4. What does this party do for its members?

Disco Musolini - We The People has set up a party writers guild to encourage its members to be active in the media by providing readers and votes. The People are also eligible for 400 energy/day through the Feed The World program.

Talostastic - Feed The World. A place where their voice is at least heard, no matter what it's saying. Where any idea is an idea that's, at minimum, discussed.

5. What does this party do to get players (especially newer ones) involved?

Disco Musolini - In addition to food support through Feed The World, We The People provides in depth mentoring for it’s new members and looks to create a welcoming environment for new players in hope that they will in time become old players.

Talostastic - WTP has a multitude of programs to encourage and reward new player growth, and there are many others much more qualified than I to speak of them.

6. One line on why a member should join your Party?

Disco Musolini - We The People is home to many players who hope to bring out the best in the eUSA through openness and by providing a place where voices can be heard.

Talostastic - We're awesome, we're expanding, and we're offering upwards mobility to people with the motivation to take it.
