[Asgard HQ] Asgard/Asteria Pact

It gives me great pleasure to present to everyone the official pact between Asgard and Asteria which aims to bring our alliances closer together while bringing all of our member nations together to co-operate economically and militarily. Our two alliances will refer to this pact when working together in the future.

Pact between ASTERIA and ASGARD

I - Principles and Aims

A.1 - Aims
ASTERIA and ASGARD sign pact in order to ensure their territorial independence, economic profit and provide better cooperation between them. Its aim is only to strengthen the mutual friendship between alliances.
A.2 - Principles
Both Alliances are represented by the Supreme Council of ASTERIA and HQ of ASGARD.
Both Alliances have the right to control of all their core regions. Any attack on a member from this Alliances, unless agreed to be leased or relinquished, shall be regarded as an act of aggression, and every Alliance has to make effort to repel the aggressor. Territorial and political independence of Alliances is guaranteed.
Both Alliances will coordinate to ensure their safety. Help has to be given if requested by one of this Alliances in need. Trade and economic co-ordination between the fellow nations is encouraged.

II.2 - Admission

Any country, regardless of its military strength, population or geographical position will automatically join the pact, if they join to one of these Alliances, or any other secondary Alliances of ASTERIA or ASGARD.

III.3 - Members

Members of this pact are ASTERIA and ASGARD alliances.
A Member has the obligation to follow the principles and duties of this pact.
A Member is required to share all important information with the others and inform them for any diplomatic moves it makes towards outside Alliance.
No Member may commence aggressive military or economical behaviour towards another.

This pact will be ratified when the appropriate people sign below in the comments.

I think this will sound better for you on the paper than in reality. Norway/UK is the perfect example of it. One thing is sure, Asteria will take care of themselves first and then they will check if Asgard needs any help. A problem is in a fact that Asteria won't be able to solve all of their problems, in my opinion this pact will remain only on the "paper".

Good luck to Asgard, you've been our good and reliable allies. I guess we picked different ways this time, maybe the future bring us together again. I know I'd like that.

Norway is like 1/5th of UK and has been battling also against FYROM. Norway still being on the map is pretty much all thanks to Asteria.

Also implying that any alliance could take care of ALL your problems, they are alliances, not Gods.

The main goal of Asteria was to keep Macedonia without a congress so egreece can still have huge tax revenue. The priority wasn't to help eNorway.

You will see in coming months what I said right now.

Of course you can't expect alliance to take care of you all the time, but that exactly was the point of my comment. I'm saying you're still on your own, don't rely on someone else 😉

Of course we can not hope Asteria will take care of every problem that arises. Asgard is not part of Asteria and it is really understandable they will take care of their own first, then see if we need help. No debate. But it is way better than standing on our own without any friends.

I think this is as much an agreement that Asteria won't invade ASGARD as anything. They can then use them for launching platforms if they so wish. In that regard, it should work well for both sides.

We are not asking Asteria to fight for us and nor does this mean we are obligated to help them whenever they want. This is a pact agreeing not to attack each other and co-operate militarily and economically when we can. Or we could just remain alone, go to war with 2 major alliances and keep being invaded by the UK and LT who are both Sirius factions...what else would you have us do?

The UK invaded us...why would they let us into Sirius...they would lose their bonus's, and we proposed peace to LT and they broke a deal and rejected it overall. So how do you propose Rudolf Steiner that we are able to become pro Sirius? Use your head for something more than a hat rack.
