Join the new world

Dear Citizens of the Netherlands,

It is now less than a day until I have to resign my office. It has been a roaring month with the fall of TWO and following the re balancing of the two major groups in the eWorld.
At home there were some troubles during the congress elections, where multi accounts were used to gain power. In the end the move didn't work, so let’s hope it stays with that incident and that fair play is the only road to power!

Newspaper contest
In my first article, I announced a contest for the best newspaper. To remind you, I and my team were looking for original articles without promotion for your party/MU/elections. With this in mind, it was pretty easy to select a winner. We also had a price for the runner up, but that one isn't so easy to select. We have seen several one hit wonders, like the power spin survey by MaartenW which made it to the very top all over the world and the article by Marnix Maximus about the formation of the new alliances. On the other hand we saw some nice storytelling by Kordak in his game of thrones series.

Winner: Willem the Conqueror - 1000cc
With his newspaper: The Eye of Tomorrow, he is giving a great insight in what is going on in our politics. It gives you some extra insight in the parties and or candidates before and after the elections. There is even room for several columnists, so it looks pretty professional for the standards of the new world already! I’m sure I’m not alone if I say that I hope to see much more from you with this newspaper.

Runner-up: Piet Heyn - 500cc
Although he just published his first article, he looks very promising. The article is very helpful for the younger players and maybe even the older ones as well! It looks like there will be more where this came from so to stimulate him with that, I want to give him this price. Good luck!

Governmental spending
Recently we signed the two MPPs we had budgeted for with Albania and BiH. These two countries are great allies that are struggling with Serbia at home with their colonies in the Emirates.
Another part of the budget was preserved to be used for combat orders. In my last article I elaborated a bit why it hasn't been used yet. Although the Balkans were a nice scene to use it last week, but due to the tournament that was raging on, it didn't look like a good idea to aid several participants in doing more damage than the other. The money will now partly be donated to the CO fund of the state MU to be used in time of need and the rest will join the donation to the EF.

Coaching and Training Ground loans
Biggest project this month was been the coaching program that will fit every beginners needs. Sadly Armatis vanished after half a month due to some RL issues. He have presence every once in a while though, but not in a way that he could be of service. This has put all the workload on RDRDM resulting in less work done. As he will be part of the team next month anyway, he and I will gladly continue on it. To reveal at least something that is thought out, I will share a new path to take that RDRDM calculated and tested. It is a bit counter intuitive, but it advises X/S fanatics to upgrade the Special Forces center right after the Weights room. This may cost you a fair bit of gold in the training, but if you do it correct, you can use it very often and your strength will go up much faster, enabling you to earn your gold with a big stack of battle hero medals! RDRDM himself has been testing it, and so far he is gaining strength very rapidly and is leading the X/S rankings for D1.
