Comrade, can you tell me what exactly this picture represents? Precisely, what you want to display through this symbol? Based on the first two sentences, I can conclude that this is about keeping the people you love, but I'm not sure if this is correct interpretation ...
First, the text above..
The conversation is a short metaphorical take on a two-way patriotic feeling. It represents both the nostalgia towards the nation (father) far away and the uncertainty about the strength of exchanged patriotic feelings (mother and child-cocoon).
Second, the following caricature..
Hard-cased glass dome (named accordingly) is a representation of an stict and sheltered home only ment as a housing establishment where a beautiful butterfly can nurture perfect patriotic being and atmosphere. The bottom shows the ambition about the size of such a home.
Is it clear now?
Since you're not from eJapan I'm not sure how familiar are you with current social structure.
I would like that my articles inspire people to do their own conclusions and for the picture to speak for themselves.
Thank you. It really cleared the situation for me...
Like all domes you can see them a tool that keeps something out or something in. Depending in your point of view. Anyway, nice piece of art
When I sae this I remebered one TV series I am waching : Under the Dome!
Because of the dome ad because of the butterfly... take a took to the series.. Maybe you'll like it! 🙂
Do not get me wrong, you know I think few of all those propaganda.
But I feel like the conveyed idea at first sight is rather a CTG dominating, stifling and isolating eJapan under a glass bell. The butterflies would then be a representation of some sort of infiltration attempt through a renaissance under more affable traits and on behalf of a seasoned patriotism, visually closed to the local population...
That would be an interpretation... One of a thousand kinds...
What is the pattern on the wing ? Some sort of heraldry ?
I explained above what was my motive in creating this article, but everyone is more than welcome to read in whatever they like..that is a part of its purpose, to present a mild self-reflection.
Yeah, it's a serbian national cross..the 4 letters 'S' distributed around sar short for "Само Слога Србина Спасава (Only Unity Saves the Serb)".
Really nice. Your use of the details is stunning and serves a well thought motive. I'm looking forward to your next work of art.
However, I sincerly hope you can find new inspiration in the many interests a new culture can provide you with, rather than in the contemplation and the complacent praise of some, former yet sticky, culture's past greatness.

don't get it... this is the first time that i don't get your caricature, even after the reading of your explanation.
What is it that you don't understand?
I get that this time it includes more abstract symbols that could be interpreted in numerous ways but I'm willing to go through the specifics of my vision in creating it.
it's too many abstract symbols for me LOL
At first I thought the same as Zodi but, giving it some thought.. I came to see it as:
CtG being a cage filled with eSerbian patriotism(that being the cacoon and butterfly) which they cling to(shown how the butterfly still clings to the cacoon), while they wish to be a part of eJapan, they don't fit(Seeing how the bottle is larger then eJapan thus wouldn't fit into the country).
Oh do make more of these turt.
I see it differently...
The butterfly represents the actual members of CTG. They have enclosed themselves in inside the jar (almost a jail of sorts) of CTG given they're clinging to the Serbian Patriotism (the cocoon) which they were fond of in the past. Quite simply, they need to let go of the cocoon and find a way out of the jar to join us all here in eJP.
Hmm not bad.
That was my general motive..just presented it with gentler words.
I saw a moth in a glass jar. I hate moths. Hopefully it suffocates.
Symbolism? (´・ω・`)
