Hello e-citizens of India,

After a somewhat lackluster month for ICP aka Indian Comrades Party aka The Butter Chicken Party ( 😛 ), I have decided to run for the post of Party President. Now have put together a list of things which will be implemented in the coming term:

1.) Party Promotion

Now I seriously believe that ICP can and will be the dominant force in the Indian political scene soon, due to a great mix of players from the experienced older players and the enthusiastic new players who will run this party in future. It is this mix of experience and enthusiasm which will lead our party to greater heights. We have always encouraged and will always encourage our members to step up to the highest levels to prove their worth and give them the opportunity to grow in this game and experience its excellent community.

2.) Congress Candidates

Now this is and has been a point of contention in the past, and I would like to straighten some things out. First of all, no person shall hold more than 1 post, hence people working for the party in a direct post shall not be eligible for congress seats. This is because of the fact that a person should focus his energy on one thing at a time, and give his full potential to it. The candidates shall be selected by deliberation of the party members and everyone's views will be taken into account.

3.)Recruitment

ICP has never in the past, or never in the future will support multis. It is unethical and against the rules. The members are and will be genuine and will be encouraged fully to be active in the party, and contribute as much as they can towards it. We will provide direct support to newbies both on IRC and in-game both financially and morally, so they can experience the game to the fullest while contributing their best to the party.

4.)Communication

Communication is of course a very important aspect of handling a political party. The past month was admittedly a tad bit of a low point in communication due to some physical problems. But I assure you that that is in the pat, and right now ICP is pretty active on IRC, with our channel #ICP getting active participation from many, which is a good sign indeed. And I would like to continue this effort with the help of our most active members, which are always there on IRC to help and guide newbies and others alike.

5.)On Dispatch

Dispatch has been the bone of contention in many circles. Some say it is a must to get new players, others say it is a waste of resources. My opinion on this is the fact that private dispatches like those done by other parties are less of a help and more of a bribe, to lure candidates in. Because as we see, the government has its own dispatch program which crosses party lines, and is available to anyone. Why not keep it centralized, instead of splitting it up and let scammers get weapons. Though we will support genuine players in whom we see potential in every way possible, financial, advice, everything. And if enough resources can be managed by us, we surely will start a program to help those in urgent need of food and weapons below a certain level.

Finally I would conclude by saying Good Luck to all the other participants in the race for PP, may the best guy win. And no matter who wins, ICP will be there to help every e-Indian citizen.
