Greetings,

I just wanted to start by saying that though I did not participate, the MU contest looked like it was quite enjoyable, I hope everyone had a good time.

I'm here tonight because we've got some kind of Congressional elections coming up. I must admit, when I joined up I thought elections and politicking would be my favorite part of this game. Sadly, between changes both gamer-created and dictated by the developers, much of the life seems to have been bled out of them relative to the "good ol' days".

Oh well, c'est la vie.



Instead of making grand promises I either can not keep or do not have the power to act on, I will only promise you this: If elected, I will work hard and I will use my best judgment to do what is best for the eUS.

What does that mean? I'm glad you asked random reader. That means that I will actively participate in discussions and reach out to veteran members. It means that I will do my homework to learn more about each issue. It means that I will focus on what is possible within the confines of game mechanics instead of some misguided RL ideology.

If that sounds good to you, then please vote for the USWP ticket (and by extension me) on Saturday, May 25th.
