About Aquitaine
Deputy Secretary of State Derphoof

What's all that blue that's not Murrica?

It would appear as though we have come to a conclusion, for the time being, in our assault on Aquitaine. Last time we checked in, we had just gone through the NE debacle. However, our time had come once more, and we had another chance to take the region. From wednesday into thursday, the battle raged on as we attempted to deprive Serbia of rubber and continue to take it the next day. However, as you all know, we ended up on the losing end of that battle.

As disappointing as that may be, there were some things to be proud of. For instance, we saw more cooperation between US-AIM and the USAF. Our MUs worked together throughout the conflict as the main source of damage. Destroying Serbia is something all American soldiers enjoy, and they were hard at work taking out as many Serbs as they could. Many tanks came out strong, hitting for America until the very end. John Largo, LaIIe, ColinLantrip, and Artela all put in a ton of effort, earning spots in the top five, and I know America is very grateful for it.

Just as wonderful was the support we saw from traditional allies and emerging allies. The biggest help in the fight against Serbia came from our allies in Germany. This new CoT trial member and former Terra ally, opened up supplies for the battle as many of their citizens poured damage into the battle. One citizen in particular showed up in full force for us on the battlefield. Omg_87 poured 521 Million damage into the battle, earning a CH medal and the respect of Americans and CoT citizens everywhere. Even so, it was not simply the Germans that came in to help in Aquitaine. Citizens from Asgard nations and CoT nations continually showed up to fight the Serbs all day and night, keeping America in contention.

Even though we lost the battle, America is extremely thankful for the effort of every American soldier as well as all of the support from Germany and other allies.

At time of publishing, ST6 is number 3 world wide

As we all know, the MU Contest has been going on for almost 3 days now. At the start, we saw the opening of MUs like ST6 and The Special Forces to other MU’s, welcoming them in and giving them supplies in exchange for their damage.

Day 1 saw the start of the battle, with ST6 taking the quick lead, and being the first MU to hit a billion damage. Day 2 brought us 3 other MU’s that hit the Billion mark: US Marine Corps, The Special Forces, and Easy Company. At the time, we had 7 MU’s in the Top 100, only 4 in the Top 50 (ST6, USMC,TSF,EZC).

The MU Contest has brought the best out of our fighters. Coming out on top in Day 1 was John Largo (243,555,927), Josh Frost (216,327,373), DMV3 (216,253,603), Artela (214,253,506 and dealing an impressive 45.52% of her MU’s damage), and Lalle (150,789,600). In Day 2, John Largo was in 1st again (652,271,107), with ColinLantrip in hot pursuit (639,365,042). 3rd went to Lalle (450,432,996), 4th went to John Frost (305,271,485), and 5th went to Artela, who was still hauling an impressive amount of her MU’s damage (278,390,178, 43.08😵

Colin Lantrip approaches the battlefield

Currently, Seal Team 6 is 1st nationally, and 4th Globally, with over 5.5 billion damage. Following 2nd is the US Marine Corps with over 3 billion damage, and in 27th place Globally. 3rd went to The Special Forces, with almost 2.7 billion damage, and 41st Globally.

What will the rest of the week bring us? No one but Dio knows. But it seems that ST6 is the strongest contender of the eUS, and will stay at 1st Nationally, 3rd Globally, until the end of the Contest.
