[FG4CP] Communication and Cooperation

Day 1,863, 11:59 Published in USA USA by fingerguns

The world didn't end, so now I'm gonna make good on all this:

*If I am elected, I will keep party leaders and MU commanders in the loop and share in the responsibility of informing the public, organizing members and maintaining a united front. I will trust community leaders to lead their communities and provide them with whatever assets and information they need to do so effectively.

*If I am elected, I will help boost activity and retention through a series of domestic initiatives. We need to focus on not only the new players, but also the two clickers and even those older players who are growing bored after years of repetition. General activity makes election activity easier.

*If I am elected, I will restructure parts of the government for maximum communication and efficiency. We need teams of people coordinating closely to help us navigate battles and potential alliances, as well as our domestic initiatives. Additionally, if a job is really just a title, then it's going to stop existing. There is work to be done. No messing around.

*If I am elected, I will overhaul the Department of Homeland Security to turn it into a PTO fighting machine. Being defensive isn't good enough, we must also be offensive. A comprehensive assault on these infiltrators is what it's going to take to get us off the ropes so we can eventually start regaining bonuses and getting the eUS back in the shape it needs to be. There are many angles by which we can approach this, and we need to be doing all of the angles.

4 points, 4 promises, 4 articles. Makes sense.

Let's start with point 1: Improved Communication and Cooperation.

We're all on the same team here. Or, at least, we are supposed to be. But is there really any denying that the general public is extremely out of the loop when it comes to major issues that affect all of us? Not just the general public, actually, but many of the people we consider important leaders in this nation- party leaders and military unit commanders...even Congress. How are we supposed to all be on the same team when only like 5 people ever know what's going on?

Now, we can't be naive here. It took a long time for things to get this bad and it will probably take a while to get things back on track. We have to change our mentality before any change in our behavior will actually stick.

Thinking on this issue too much is really disheartening. We all know the root of the problem here. We all know why there is so little trust between groups in the eUS- trust has been betrayed before. We all know why there is so little incentive to keep trying to mend fences and work together- been there, done that, been burned. But I'll tell ya, I don't know how we can keep going like this. It's like an abusive relationship or something. We know it hurts the children most of all, but we can't break the cycle. There is some sort of dysfunctional comfort in the endless US vs THEM.

It's gotta stop. For the children.

-Congress:

Parties already have representatives in the government. It's called Congress. Unfortunately, Congress is completely disregarded and does little more than set the budget. While that job is important, I think Congress is being extremely underutilized by ignoring the fact that they represent their parties.

The current Administration is considering joining an alliance. Congress was made aware of this after the groundwork had been laid and wheels had been set in motion. It's like Congress was told as a formality shortly before public articles started going out. I'm not sure why we were informed at all. Protocol? Courtesy?

I don't get this and if I am elected, I will keep Congress in the loop. I will discuss things with Congress.

I know this is making people facepalm right now. There is a reason why most Administrations try not to deal with Congress at all. I don't care. I'm not burdened by that history. As a Congresslady, my party members asked me for information. As a Congresslady, I had no information to give them. I served in other capacities in the Cabinet, so I was able to help them out and help keep my party informed, but none of it was coming through Congress.

Shouldn't Congress members serve some kind of purpose in the parties that got them elected?

It's up to parties and Congress to really make that happen, but I will do all I can to help facilitate.

-Other Community Leaders:

PP's, VPP's, and MU Commanders have been invaluable in recent ATO efforts. They couldn't have helped if no one told them what was going on. This has to become common practice. Nobody can complain that no one helped out when they were completely shut out of all strategizing. When they are asked to come together and given what they need to work together, things go smoothly. We can actually function as a team. We have to keep doing this!

I'm proud of the private citizens who have taken it upon themselves to put this together, but honestly, they are doing it because the government is failing to hold their end up. I will fix this.

ATO organizing and participation should be a normal part of community leader job descriptions. Again, it's up to parties and military units to really make that happen, but I will do all I can to help facilitate.

The lines of communication have to be open if we're going to start rebuilding some of this trust, and trust is exactly what we need if we're going to defeat this PTO once and for all and get the eUS back on top where it belongs. I trust party leaders, Congressmen and military unit commanders to lead their members with integrity. I respect that they are leaders and I respect that they have been entrusted with those positions through hard work and proven merit, not simply by winning an election. I want to work with them and help them lead their members by keeping them informed and including them in these important discussions. These cannot be empty titles.

I am proud to announce that I have asked John Killah to serve as my Vice President, and he has accepted the position. I was very impressed with his run for President last month. He was the only candidate really offering up new ideas and proposing new ways of doing things rather than just swapping one group of friends out with another. He was unfortunately drowned out, but I think he has exactly the right mentality to help with this mission of rebuilding trust, refocusing on what matters and reorganizing for the future to make this game fun again!

I'm very excited to have him on board and look forward to making big things happen with him!

Thanks for reading,

Stay tuned for more details on points 2-4!!!

Do we need new titles? Or do we need to respect the jobs that already exist?
