The eDepartment of Homeland Security (DHS)

What is the Department of Homeland Security?



Look at the real-life (RL) DHS. It was founded after 9/11 in 2001, to protect the American people from terrorist threats. It works to secure American borders, strengthen border control and infrastructure. It also controls and facilitates legal immigration to the USA.

In eRepublik, our DHS is also responsible for protecting the American community. Just as in RL, America is a nation of immigrants. Our diversity has forged our culture and identity.



We welcome immigrants, so long as they come here to BE Americans, sharing in our efforts and freedom.

To be sure that we bring in the right people, we have an official procedure, supported by the eRep American community. This is the Immigration Enforcement Service (IES).



Our DHS also monitors other threats to our community. There are Directorates of Detection and of Investigation. These people are vigilant, using and monitoring all available forms of communication. They keep information on those people whose activity can harm our community.





Why do we need a Department of Homeland Security?

The eUS community is united against a common threat. That threat is the groups controlled by Ajay Bruno, under his current alias of “Ronald Gipper Reagan”. These include his party, the so-called “American Freedom Alliance” (AFA) and puppet parties like “FriendShip and honoR” (FSR). Ajay Bruno is himself a willing puppet of foreign masters, namely our long-term enemies in eSerbia, eHungary and their associates.



The AFA and Ajay Bruno are a clear and present danger to the eUS. If they ever gain power here, the eUS would soon be plundered of its reserves and weakened against invasion.



What can I do to help the DHS?

All new citizens can help the DHS and our country. Be smart and watchful! Do not be seduced by AFA disinformation.

DO NOT join the AFA, FSR or any party supporting them.



CHECK the leadership of your military unit and MOVE to one that supports the eUS community. CHECK the leadership of any unit you plan to join.

DO NOT accept friendship requests from these people or anyone in a Serbian or Hungarian military unit. ALWAYS click on the player name BEFORE you accept a friendship request. See just WHO is approaching you!

DO NOT vote for AFA and its people’s media articles and DO NOT subscribe to their papers.

REPORT any approaches by these people to the DHS. REPORT any other suspicious activity, no matter how innocent it may seem.


LOOK OUT for public announcements from the government and the DHS.

ONLY FOLLOW official orders and instructions.
