Hi there eIreland

I have decided to put myself forward as a candidate for Country President. I did this as I firmly believe now is the time for a united front to fix eIreland's problems.

Many people, like you, are sick to death of party politics getting in the way of eIreland's development. I agree. That's why I've gone out of my way to contact the broadest range of eIrish citizens with the greatest experience to put us back on the path to greatness.
So today, I am proud to announce my plans, not an ILP government,
but an eIrish Government of all the Talents. I hope that this marks a break in eIrish politics, one which can see the forging of a new political consensus based not on which party you belong to or ideology that you identify with, but what contribution you can bring to eIreland.

This team needs no introduction.

MoF Appleman
Appleman comes personally recommended by Nogin the Nog and has a proud history of improving eIreland's finances. This has got to be our priority. Appleman was MoF for over a year under previous CPs. This time round he will be taking on an apprentice to help with the workload and to train up so that we have future generations of financially competent eIrish citizens.

MoD and cVP Pysch0 (MUFC92)
Pysch0 is a born MoD. He knows the military side of the game like no other. And whilst we are known to have our conflicts, we have agreed to work together for the betterment of eIreland.

MoFA Ethel Rosenberg
Like her or loathe her, Ethel is the best, most experienced candidate as eIreland's MoFA. Having previously served as MoFa under previous CPs, including myself, and having achieved high office in EDEN, there is nobody better placed to promote eIreland's interests on the eRepublik stage.

MoC Anthony Colby
Anthony Colby as the current MoC is doing sterling work on a limited budget. He has the trait most needed in he role, natural likeability. Even with the limited budget there is a lot we can do a as nation to make our social side more entertaining. We all have ideas and please let Anthony know.

MoNC Irasian
Irasian is the guy we all want to meet when joining eIreland. He is extremely helpful and writes excellent player guides. He and Rikian will continue to command the eIrish Bootcamp, probably the best project we have run in eIreland and a template for all areas of government.

Citizens of eIreland lets move forward, while learning the lessons of the past. Let us work together, rebuild the structures of the country. Let us set aside our differences and show that we are a country that can work together and reverse recent setbacks and become the nation we deserve.

I did agreed to be MoD if whs wins. We need expirienced government whoever wins. If you look my candidacy I choosed best people aswell.

Actually those talks about coalition governmnet was rejected after some time because we couldn't agree almost for anything. There was insulting between ILP-Saoirse and therefore talks turned off.
This is just result of putting best people in gov.

Yes it was disappointing we couldn't get a genuine coalition government but this is the next best thing. The only issue is if you'll all get along with each other, but I'm sure you'll all put the country first before your collective egos

MUFC is correct we had a disagreement that stopped us going ahead ("almost for anything" is a bit strong imho) but we all agreed that regardless of who wins eIreland must be the winner.

So If MUFC wins I call on my supporters to support his Government and put eIreland's future first.
But also if you cannot find your way to vote for me and I win please support the resulting Government again putting eIreland first!

No problem with a unity Government if it's lead by the right person.

WHS was the worst CP we ever had imo. He was just as bad in just about any role in Government. The CP of a "unity" Government should be a unifying figure. WHS is one of the most partisan players e-Ireland ever had. So this is just a joke tbh.

Most important position in Cabinet is CP, and it needs to be filled by someone better than WHS to have my support. He fails as a unifying figure, fails as a competent CP.

Agree with the roofer on this one. And do we really want a "unity candidate" to be a new feature in Irish politics? Basically we're talking something along the lines of a dictatorship where 2 maybe 3 PP's get to decide for everyone who we ought to be voting for. Party politics isn't a problem in Ireland, not like it is in the US or somewhere, why scrap it when it ain't broke?

Also note we did agree we did not want everyone. (Read known scammers thieves and trolls). But most people in eIre want to get out of the hole we are in and a few months of solid stable and responsible government should provide it.

After that we can all look back at the results and make judgment calls on
1 did it work
2 if it did do we want to continue

But to get to that point we need breathing space and that is what this Gov proposal is tasked with

Forget 'unity' IB, that's just a leftwing buzz word for votes.

WHS offered to work with the ppl who actually made eIreland great, rather than undermining their efforts with vulgar politics.

This is a rare opportunity for the country, and we shouldn't unnecessarily complicate it by scrutinizing minor issues like mechanics knowledge, skill-sets or previous performance.
Let go of the past man.

We could make a trained seal CP. As long as it's clapping to the right beat it doesn't matter.
