Join the new world

Today I’d like to explain a bit further what it is the Ministry of Health is trying to achieve, how things are going and then of course how you can help.

The Ministry aims to find investment for active new citizens through pledges (much like donations) and then taking applications for grants and 0% loans, A bit like the old Bank of England.

Pledges are much like Donations with a slight difference. Where a Donation is sent to an individual a pledge is just a promised amount, a donation in the future promise if you will. The other difference is that while Donations are received and distributed by a single person Pledges are sent by the Pledger to the person receiving the Loan or Grant.

This is all done through Google Document Forms and orchestrated through ingame private messages. When an applicant applies and is successful the pledger or pledgers needed to complete the application are contacted with details of who to donate their pledge to and how much is required along with some other useful information.


While the MoH is happy to try and accommodate as many avenues of investment as possible with a limited amount of funds we have to try and prioritise the investments that are most beneficial.

This so far has been Training Ground Upgrades, especially to level 2.

The reasoning behind this is that whilst Saltpeters give an increased income for new players it isn’t actually as high an increase as a training ground upgrade. For instance by selling the weapons raw material from a saltpeter every day it takes 94 days (280wrm x £0.09 = £25.2 per day)(£2400 (5g in gbp) % 25.5 = 94 days) to earn 5 Gold, Whereas upgrading the free training ground to level 2 improves the speed at which a super soldier medal (worth 5g) is earned to every 22 days as opposed to every 37 days.

Of course the other bonus besides being more economically worthwhile is that Training Ground upgrades lead to our nation being militarily stronger.

This leads me onto some good news! 😁


Well things started to get rolling on Wednesday just passed, So far we’ve managed to give out £49,600 (or 103G) worth of grants and loans, with all but two Applications now having been completed. With the remaining two either being too large an amount to commit to or in one case a joke application.

This means we have helped 6 young eUK'ers to upgrade their training grounds to level two and hopefully we can keep that number increasing!

Alongside that I’ve been amazed to hear that one Loan has already been repayed!

The MoH runs on a purely donation basis at the moment and as such could always do with more pledgers to keep helping new players. The glory of pledging is that you don’t need to have the funds ready to hand right now, you can pledge to give something in the near future!
