Join the new world

Wow, the first DoE Scavenger Hunt is over and I want to say thank you to everyone who participated, as well as helped me set it up! Though we didn’t have as many as I had thought, I still think it was a big success and I plan on doing this again in the future or passing this idea along to any future Secretaries of Education.

Before I congratulate our finishers, I want to explain a little bit more about this event. This event was conceptualized to accomplish a variety of goals. We wanted to provide a way for newer players to get involved, find out where to get valuable information, get some input on how they see the game, and overall just have some fun. Based on the answers I got to some of the questionnaires along the way, I’m proud to say that I believe we accomplished all of those!

In order to complete this scavenger hunt, our participants had to travel all over the place, both here in the actual game, as well as delving into the IRC and the eUSA forums. It required finishers to be registered both on the IRC and forums, ensuring they have access to both. Here is a list of the stops that these guys had to hit:
