Explanation and Apology for My Previous Actions
TheSpaceCowboy
First, I would like to apologize to my fellow MU members for the shame I caused them by doing what I did; I'm sorry, it was never my intention to make you guys look bad. I did what I did because the government turned its back on us and honestly, I was very mad. I stand ready to take whatever consequences you deem fit.
Now I should say what I did. I accepted some citizenships that weren't approved by IES. Yes, I did that... but no one asks, "Why?" I did that because the government destroyed the Air Force, which made me upset. Also, even though many officers, including myself, left that MU for that reason, the government still asked for something from us: raw firms that were not theirs. The other officers didn't know that I am a congressman and didn't know what I planned to do. Now, that same government wants to put the blame on the entire MU for what I have done (all by myself) to our new MU, just because we made a strong unit that will continue to grow, with capacity to match AF strength. They are asking for me to be discharged because of that one mistake I made... and they want to forget about all I did for them. I never disobeyed any single order until they did that to AF; I always listened to the orders (pings on IRC, from bot or DoD orders, and so on) the government gave me. But when they turned their back on us, I decided to strike back. No one is mentioning that 10 of 15 my BHs are for USA. No one is mentioning how much damage I have dealt for USA and our allies. No one is mentioning that I was supported for congressman by Gnilraps; I was fourth on the voting priorities list. I know, none of that is an excuse for what I have done and I deeply apologize once again to everyone and I hope that you will at least understand why I have done that. I will once again repeat that my fellows from Air Force and Black Sheep had nothing to do with what I did and none of them knew a single thing about it. Once again, sorry everyone--by that I mean every US citizen--for everything; I will try to make up for the things I did.

I respect that you have the nuts to apologize publicly. That takes character.
You have every right to be angry. Hell I'm STILL angry about the way the eUS Mil was treated by many of the same people that treated you guys badly. BUT what you did didn't just hurt them, it hurt every one of us.
I hope that you truly realize this and learn from it. Sometimes the best payback is to let karma handle it.

"I stand ready to take whatever consequences you deem fit."
WELL, apparently not since you complain that ---
"They are asking for me to be discharged because of that one mistake I made..."
Tell ya what: YOU suggest a fitting punishment
I did that because the government destroyed the Air Force, which made me upset.
i couldn't agree more.
Like Bia said, it takes a real man (or woman) to apologize. It doesn't make it right, obviously, but it's better than doing NOTHING about it, at least.
Nice one Cowboy. Thanks for owning up like a real man. Fairly sure you won't be discharged.
Speaking of, you other people - you government types - you can stop suggesting or requesting we discharge people. We are no longer a government MU. You do not fund us. You have done nothing to help us get started. I, personally, have returned my wRM money (with no mention of that in President Stevens' article, I might add), and have encouraged my fellow Black Sheep to do the same.
Or how about this. You issue a PUBLIC reprimand to ST6 for disobeying orders in the Can/Am war and discharge a few of those members as well. I would say discharge all who disobeyed, but that would be the whole unit, and I'm nothing, if not reasonable. Then maybe we can talk. Otherwise, we are running this MU as we see fit, and you can take your suggestions and requests and.... oh wait, I was being reasonable here. Well, you get the picture.

so: no consequences at all for giving all those serbians citizenship on the eve of a Party president election. The consequences of those citizenship grants will have a tremendous and very long term impact on the US. That behaviour will hurt the US significantly for six months or more. But there should be no consequence, no disaproval, nothing except "thanks for apologizing and saying you were prepared to face consequences as long as there are none" ? Why not self imposed consequences?
We disapprove of his actions. Our inner-workings are really none of your concern, but I will tell you that there was discussion with every senior member so far and a vote will be taken on his discharge.I just don't see it happening. We are not going to be dictated to as to how punishment shall be meted out in our MU.
I think this can be considered "consequences" for talking bad about his friends and the MU that contains his friends. No word yet on my demands? I see...

so if you lick the boots before they walk on you, you get into congress (should have figured)?
green latern: agreed 100% that the inner working are none of my business. No one's dictating anything. Nor even, in my case, am I pressuring you to do anything. You see, I think HE should do something. HE is the one who should impose severe sanctions on himself. I believe in personnal responsibility. "I take full responsibility" doesn't mean much if you don't then follow up and sanction yourself. "sorry" isn't much of a punishment. In my book it just reflects on the man, or boy.
Hey dumbasses, its a game and he made a mistake and he apologized for it. Or should we all sneak into his house with a roll of quarters in a sock and beat him to death to be sure it does not happen again.
@nice role play it's just that you gave US CS to Serbians because you are Serbian .
Anyway ..nice play and spin off of US internal problems .
Too bad the True Patriot history does not get erased :
"True Patriot history
Damage
2,290,214 for " Insert your Serbian flag here.
@olivermellors I didn't let only Serbs in, feel free to check. There are Albaninas, Bosnians, Croats, Russians, Pakistaninans, Polands. They say it was only Serbs cause they want you too see it that way.
@vladb I did more damage for Australia ( USA ally) in one battle than for Serbia for the whole time I was there.
"Hey dumbasses, its a game and he made a mistake..."
it wasn't a mistake, it was a purposeful action intended to make the game suck for a lot of people.
"...because the government destroyed the Air Force, which made me upset."
those Senior Officers walked, they weren't kicked. the Air Force continues, better now without them-- and you.
@George Armstrong Custer. "Better now without them... " eh? Yet ANOTHER insult, not so thinly veiled, at the former officer corps of the Air Force. I am sure things are getting better. Perhaps because this situation made the government stop a minute and think about how they were treating the Air Force. Before, the Air Force was a damn fine MU without much moral support from the government. Now it is a damn fine MU that has more moral support from the government.

First off i don't believe that is a mistake that he made. He knew of the consequences and he knew exactly what he was doing. That is not a mistake. he did it to get back at the Government for what they had done. To say this was a simple mistake is calling me and the rest of america ignorant and stupid. I accept your apology but I do feel that you should be blacklisted from Congress and never be allowed to hold the position again. Whats to say when you get " ANGRY " again you wont do the same.
