20th November – One Year of eRepublik
Dear citizens,
Next week, on the 20th of November, we will be celebrating a year of eRepublik.
The first day after the launch of eRepublik, about 200 users from all corners of the world (Europe, America, Australia) had already registered in eRepublik.
Nowadays, over 50 thousand citizens interact in eRepublik leaving their footprint in the New World.
As we speak, Russia is fighting to regain its independence from Norway. The first Russian Independence War was started in the Volga-Vyatka Region. The conflict of interests brought even the forces of ATLANTIS and PEACE into the battlefield.
After many hours of rough fights, an official 48 hour cease-fire agreement was signed. This time it was deemed necessary for the Norwegian Congress members to debate regarding an Independence Contract.
Meanwhile, a demilitarized zone was established in the conflict area that will be active until Congress comes up with a decision. Once the contract is accepted, Norwegian forces will no longer be able to oppose Russian independence. Revolutionary party members have already been instructed to move to Volga-Vyatka in order to be a part of Russia when it regains its country statute.
If the measure does not pass in Congress, both sides will resume fighting and any further negotiations will be made only following the war.
While waiting for the conclusion of this war, we would like to hear your ideas regarding how we should celebrate the first year of eRepublik.

actually that would be good present... btw... i have just send a msg via the contact page... since you are not that busy... please read it... i need to make a decision based on your answer...
you could enter some kind of special feature of the game on that day (as a celebration of the b-day) or give some kind of prize to all the players (if you give gold or any kind of currency you should give it accordind to the erepublik age of every citizen... for instance, 12 gold for players with 12months,11 gold for players with 11 months,.....,6 gold for players with 6 months,5 gold for players with 5 months,etc...)

New interesting toys for us users would be on my wish list. The war module is on the top of the list, but I guess it will not arrive this month afterall. Apart from that, money is always welcome but it's a pretty cold present. Wellness boost on the other hand would be utterly boring. Perhaps just some new features, hopefully ones that fix the terrible state of the economy system.

Actually, Bunaly's was pretty good. Although, I'd settle for 3 decimal places in our strength. I don't know if you've noticed, but the third decimal place you get in training never counts, so anything between nothing and +50%, and +50% and +100% are meaningless.
You what would be nice? Skill and strength boosts.
A special gift to all players, that gift can be given to an other player to give them back all welness.

Well you already gave us one, the update of the extra storage till 1 december. Also it would be nice that all org's have 50 storage, not only the ones created in v1 but also the old SO's. Why dont you give us a party lay out of the webpage, with balloons and stuff

@Emerick: The third decimal now counts in your strength level, although it is displayed only after you finish your training.
@Luuklag: You're spoiling the present you'll receive for one month of V1. I like the party layout idea.

Michel's idea was awesome.
I) Give 1 "Supergift" (100% heal) for everyone, so we could exchange with our friends.
II) Give 1 Q5 House for one citizen per country (alleatory)
III) Create some kind of "special event", moderated by admins, with cash and gold prizes.
IV) Reduce temporary ban to 1 Day (lol).
V) Offer different kinds of prizes (+100 local cash/+5G/3+Q5 Weapons) and let each citizen choose one.

People that joined 10 months ago or even 4 months ago have much more gold then new memebers so why to increase the difference between them?
New members shouldnt be punished coz they game later, and at day like this all should be treated like equals.

I do not see the gold idea the most suitable one due to the fact that even 2 gold/per person will mean 100k gold placed on the market.
I rather consider the 100% wellness for all better.
By the way Cristi, The layout idea should be used also on the National Day of each eCountry. Plus a cease fire during that day if that ecountry is involved in a direct war at that time.
I'd appreciate a new messaging system that allows group messages between persons on the friends list as well as the possibility to send a message to all congressmen at the same time. The shout system is not good enough. Hardly a worthy B-day present, but I do want that to be implemented at some point.
We need to come up with a gift that is helpful and fun for all of us, and not just some of the players. I am against the strength and skill increase gifts and giving gold since they yet again break the balance of the game and possibly make the oldest players into super monsters. Not my idea of a great gift to increase their already disturbing advantage in this game. The e-penises of the new players already look minoscular when compared to theirs.
I can't really think of anything good. Everything that involving us users getting something for free quite likely lessens the sales on the market and help to further ruin the economy system. I just want a working, bug free game. I can't have that right now so I would be content with just some sort of certificate that I have been a beta tester. Something that would show on my profile picture, preferably.

- Joke of the week/Article of the week.
- Special prizes like strenght increase or reduction vouchers with cut the prices by 10,20,30% without affecting the company`s profit.
Extra medals like:
-Lucky Star for winning 10 times at bets.
-Animal Lover for raising your pet to lv 10.
-Society Enterteiner for winning 5 times joke of the week prize.
For each of these medals you get 5 gold.
That`s about it.I hope you like it.

Please note the Azarbaijan is the oldest region of iran .but we haven't it in this game yet (inside of the Iran).
If you can't make it for exists Azarbaijan country here . you can create a region in the northwest of (inside the) iran with ATROPATGAN or AZARABADEGAN name.

This has nothing to do with the 1 yr anniversary, but bringing back the beta congressional voting system would be nice. I don't think it makes sense that Delaware should have the same representation as New York in Congress. RL Congress, in the US anyway, is based on regions, but they also have proportional representation based on population. Just imagine that the partys are the regions and that way everyone get proportionate representation.

Now it's been a month since I for the first time asked for help to fix my SO account. 1 month have passed without any solution to my problem even if I've asked for help several times in EI comments and your contact form.
I have now created an organisation, spending 5 gold on it. It was kind of sad to do that, but I feel that my SO account from the beta is "lost" now, I can't and I don't want to wait any longer for help.
Therefore I would like to be reimbursed with the 5 gold I used to create my organisation since the beta SO seems to be lost.

Wealready have levels, so it would be interesting to have stats like RPGs. Then maybe body-slots to wear armors/clothes.

I also like the party layout, but redoing graphics would be quite hard how.

Allow everyone create one new organization for free.
This wouldn't upset game economy balance since the gold used to create organizations goes out of the game. Also, this would benefit new players more than old players, since oldies already either have organization(s) or gold to get them.

How about double/half bonus for the day?

- Double skill gain for working, training
- Half cost on company creation, export licenses, organizations, etc

redesign raw materials. high medium and no materials thing is too simplistic and unfair...
for example, texas have 1000billions of oil barrel and basilicata 1million. this doesn't influence the speed extraction rate... if i use enough money i can extract 10000 barrels/day, no matter what where i am. the only difference is how long i can extract oil... please consider this

Everyone (who wants) can donate 1gold to the admin. At the end of the event the amount of gold is devided by X and that amount is donated to a charity of choice*. For example, whant taking 2 for X each 200 gold will be 100euro donated.
*erepublik wants to educate suddenly (trivia), so maybe a charity that improves education in 3th world countries Make newyear a day of peace (not to be confused with the alliance). This day is a cheerful day, so no fighting allowed that day. Maybe include some kind of wellnessbox which you can give away once to a person you like. This person can use this box when he wants to gain for example 10 wellness.

Please do NOT give wellness boost that day. I have seen some multi's now nearly death, and I want to get rid of them. Also the not active players for 2 month I like them to die.

You could give us some equality by preventing players from buing more than 10 wellness packs (=100 wellness points) per day. The oldest players have anyway much more strenght than the new ones. They shouldn't be able to fight a hundred times a day.
