[EXTRA] Haifa, Israel: An Amazonian Warp Pipe in eRepublik

Day 1,686, 20:35 Published in Japan Japan by ahava3233

Hey all, anyway, I'm bored and I randomly feel like writing an article about something interesting. Hopefully, this article will also spread awareness about an odd issue that needs to be fixed in this game. At any rate let's continue.

Haifa is a modern city in Israel (that I have personally visited once in my life) located west of the Sea of Galillee (כנרת), on the shores of the Mediterranean. It is one of the primary business centers of Israel and also one of the world's most prominent hi-tech hubs. Haifa is home to massive R&D centers for companies such as Intel, IBM, Microsoft, Motorola, Google, and Yahoo! (To give an idea, Sandy Bridge (last year's latest intel processor architecture) was developed there, amongst a ton of other technologies under all of those brand names). Additionally, Haifa is home to a UNESCO heritage site, essentially the administrative center of Bahá'í Faith, the Bahá'í World Centre.

Anyway, now that you have a basic overview of the place (it's no longer some random blip on the map), let me show you something really weird...take note of what I've circled in red.

If we perform further verification, we can determine that all of the countries that border Israel (Turkey, Cyprus, Egypt, Saudi Arabia, Greece), have all of their original territories in zone B3...all of Israel's other original regions are in B3 as well. Plus, all of the borders seem to be correct if we check them. Thus, why is Haifa in zone C2!? Mind you, the other countries in zone C2 are located VERY far away...

So, flights are apparently cheap to Haifa from South America (20 CC), but transit is three times that price to get to Haifa from anywhere in Israel (60 CC)...I guess Israelis living in Haifa can buy cheap vacations to Latin America but can't afford domestic travel. Wait, huh? (なんだよ?)

There is seriously only one explanation for this. Haifa is surrounded by an inpenetrable force field, and somewhere in the Amazon, you can find one of these...a 42 minute fall through it (assuming there's no lava down there and the pipe itself is an ideal vacuum, thus no air resistance, pressure, or friction--feel free to check my math/physics, see Gravity Train) takes you to Haifa.

Admins, please, eIsraelis have been asking for this forever (at least a year now I believe). Thus, I think it's time I made this plea global (in my case, bringing awareness to my far-away home in-game, eJapan). PLEASE FIX THIS ANOMALY ON THE MAP! If you live in a foreign country, additionally, feel free to publish your own version of this article; if we raise awareness of this issue, it might actually be fixed.

That's all folks, I hope you found this article interesting. If you liked this article feel free to vote it up and subscribe to my personal newspaper, Gougai/号外/Extra. Also feel free to leave a comment, thanks!
