This is #7 in the Gold Price series (browse the previous articles on the topic here). I present you another month of eRepublik global gold price plotting: Calculated here as always before: Monetary Market first page with the averaged price of offers #1 to #10.

I would like to approach an end here. What? The end?? Will there no longer be gold price statistics? Yes, there will. For more than a month now, I have relied on Lokitown who provided me with around-the-clock data, using the client-side tool which I hacked together based on the inofficial eRepublik API. Lokitown has now published on his website a MUCH improved server-side version of my script, and this was enabled with the help of FidelCastor, who did all the programming there. Great kudos to the both of them... I simply painted some graphs back in the day.

With the website of lokitown around to automatically retrieve up-to-date gold price statistics, in fact I see no further need to write elaborated articles on the topic. Maybe there will be some further promotional articles on the topic, but my work is done here.

Hier kommt der siebte Artikel in der Goldpreis-Serie. (die früheren Artikel zum Thema finden sich hier). Ich präsentiere nun einen weiteren Monat der statistischen Auswertung des eRepublik-Goldpreises. Berechnet sind hier wie immer: Devisenmarkt, erste Seite, Durchschnittspreis der Angebote 1 bis 10.

Ich möchte an dieser Stelle gerne einen Schlussstrich ziehen. Was? Schluss? Wird es keine weiteren Goldpreisstatistiken mehr geben? Doch, wird es. Für mehr als einen Monat habe ich mich nun bereits auf Lokitown verlassen, der mich mit rund-um-die-Uhr-Datensätzen versorgt hat, die er mithilfe eines von mir zusammengehackten clientseitigen Programms aufgezeichnet hat (basierend auf der inoffiziellen eRepublik-API). Lokitown hat nun auf seiner Webseite eine WESENTLICH bessere serverseitige Version veröffentlicht, welche von FidelCastor programmiert wurde. Meine herzlichsten Dankesworte und Lobeshymnen an diese beiden... Ich habe zu der obigen Auswertung nur die Grafik gemalt.

Mit der Webseite von Lokitown, die automatisch den Goldpreis mitplottet, sehe ich keinen Grund mehr, noch viel Arbeit in das Thema zu investieren. Vielleicht wird es noch einige PR-Artikel für Lokitown und FidelCastor geben, aber mein Werk ist getan.
