[WHPR] Seal Team 6, OWLS and Easy Company On Track to Join the Armed Forces!

Greetings!

Secretary of Defense, TTi09 and President Oblige are extremely happy to announce that the United States Armed Forces will hopefully be adding three former militias to their ranks, as full branches- pending Congressional approval.

Seal Team 6, OWLS and Easy Company would all be considered part of the United States Armed Forces. The addition of these three outstanding militias will add even greater firepower, to what is one of the world’s premier fighting groups.

What would this mean for the affected Militias?
For the everyday soldier, it means nothing will be affected. While certain issues like off-site forums are still being worked through, the average soldier can expect to keep their same position and avatar, etc. It will also mean a hugely increased supply limit. Being brought into the Armed Forces fold, means the government is fully funding these branches, allowing for even greater supply to be handed out.

What would this mean for Senior Officers, and Militia Leadership?
It means a new boss. The three militias will now report directly to the Secretary of Defense and work even more closely with the National Security Council Chairman. This won’t be an issue for the command staff, as the former OMS Militias were set to the National Security Council’s orders, over 95% of the time anyways.

There are still issues that are being sorted out by Congress and the Administration, as well as branch leadership. But, when the announcement is final, soldiers of the affected branches can expect to see an increase in weapons in the very near future.


SGTRock, the Commanding Officer of Seal Team 6, had this to say about the transition:


SGTRock went on to say that Seal Team 6 will work with Congress and the Administration (both current, and upcoming), to make sure that the transition to full branch status is as smooth as possible. He views this as a great opportunity for all Seals, and looks forward to standing side by side, with the America’s other elite branch: The Special Forces.

Americans may have noticed that for the first time in a long time, the United States only has four Presidential Candidates. There was some confusion in Joseph Dinero’s campaign, that ended with him making a costly error, that removed him from the ballot. He switched parties too late in the nomination process, and when he did, he was left off of the ballot.

What was supposed to be a Candidate Debate on eNPR, turned into only one Candidate, answering questions from the eNPR chat room. Many thanks to Artela for waking up at 3am, and joining hosts Civil Anarchy and Oblige for hosting the ‘debate’ and for handling all of the questions from the room as the night unfolded. The term, flying by the seat of their pants, was most apropos for the evening.
