Today I resigned from being a candidate at the chairman election. So let me explain why I've chosen to do so:
There are at least two big groups of people in Germany. Each groups don't like the other one for several reasons but i thought that working in congress is more important than disliking each other. So these guys of the other "group" [mostly members of OMG-party] are trying to manipulate discussions that concern to the whole Union. So I decided to resign. I do not intend to take care of a kindergarten. Arguing with people who don't think about arguments after reading authors name is just senseless.

So I'm thinking about what do you want to do this month in congress? Declining everything a Steinmetz or anybody else you don't like is proposing? That's not the German congress I remember and I also don't think that's the Germark congress we want to have. So everybody should think about his actions at first. When you finished imagine what would happen if everybody is acting like you.

I still don't want to understand why there are people who don't talk in english or add a short summary at least. There are arguments mostly by OMG-people that say "they shall use a translater" or "I am too lazy to translate this" etc. . Have you ever thought of that they MUST use the translater just because of your lazyness? Plus using translations by g-translate e.g. doesn't make any sense most of the time. This is just ignorant and I interpret it as you don't give a ... about our Union or the foreign people in the eCountry of Germany. [there are also the red army guys or e.g. ivaylo who IS a congressman]

In addition to this a guy who's not able to speak German very well asked me whether we [the Steinmetze party] just speak German all the time. I was quite surprised. So later he told me that in "Open Minded Party" [haha that name is just a mess these times...] he needed to translate most things to understand at least something. So he thought that's common sense in eGermany but IT IS NOT. Do you think it's fair to let them translate most things you wrote and don't care about your members, Open Minded Party? How about caring about others? How about not just thinking about yourself before writing anything?
Also you're afraid of your own members as we've just seen in the past party presidental elections in which you demanded to not vote for the candidate "lyuline" from your own members. Is that what "Open Mind"ness is about? Being scared about voting for her/him by your own party members so you didn't let them chose by themselves?

There's a group of about 10 to 20 people in Open Mind who rule with an iron hand. They repress any opinion they don't like as you can see in that elections mentioned above.
But that's dangerous. Nobody will notice any PTOer in their party because this "master group" also doesn't know their "real" members. They also don't inform their people about "how to congress" as we've seen by nonsense proposals by a 1st-time-OMG-congressman. Furthermore they're still supporting the rl-criminal "Hunnensohn" who stalked in real life the ex-CP of Germany Otto von Holunder.
That's why I, as leader of the Steinmetze party, TERMINATED the collaboration with those guys. But you can call me again when you decided to organize your party and kicked out criminals

As a neutral (no OMG-Guy/No Steinmetz) i have to say that Wonnes points in his article are mostly true. (I cannot say anything about the "Dont vote Lyuline"-thingy, so i say mostly).
I dont know if all can see the threads in the Bundestag in our forum, but the chairman-election was a real kindergarten. Such idiotic behaviour is childish. Just like the elction a few months ago, where the chairman was elected in the 9th election or so.
Many of you know my opinion about Hunnensohn and his actions, so i dont say may about it. Only that i can't understand why OMG supports him. The same in the FSK, BUT this dont belong under Wonnes Article.
So, 1:0 for Wonne this time.

Für die, die es nicht mitbekommen haben:
Ein paar OMGler haben tatsächlich kritisiert, dass Wonne die Nominierung zum Chairman ja nicht angenommen hätte, weil ein scherzhaftes "Herr Präsident, ich nehme die Wahl an - i accept" ja nicht offiziell genug wäre. (Einer der kritisierenden war ironischerweise Wonnes einziger Konkurrent bei der Wahl..)

Warum war solch ein Verhalten denn "ok" als es gegen PulSeD oder LPP gerichtet war? Die größte "Trollgruppe" von allen beschwert sich hier - ist schon irgendwie lustig! Sich jetzt hier als Bewahrer der guten Sitten aufzuspielen finde ich stark lächerlich.

Dir ist schon klar, das ein einzelner Anruf kein Stalking ist.Und Hunnensohn deswegen als Verbrecher zu bezeichnen ist eigentlich genau das gleiche Verhalten, daß Du der OMG vorwirfst.
Es ist doch seltsam, daß du Otto als ex-CP titulierst. Wahrscheinlich weil du hoffst so mehr Sympathie für ihn zu erzeugen. Die Tatsache, daß er die Staatskasse geklaut hat, ist ja unwichtig.

aber selbst wenn das was du schreibst stimmt so gilt dies trotzdem eher als punkt für wonne. denn politische gegner die erst über das schlechte verhalten von parteiXY (der regierung) meckern und dann aber das selbe in grün veranstalten (wenn sie in der regierung sind) sind eben NICHT gleichschlimm wie parteiXY sondern noch schlimmer!

And before blaming us to not support Lyuline in our PP-Election just imagine how you would react when Hunnensohn plays last-minute-candidate for Steinmetze PP-Election.

Hier geht es schon lange nicht mehr darum, wer woran schuld ist und wer was gemacht hat. Eigentlich sind alle Schuld an der Momentanen Situation und inzwischen ist auch egal wer angefangen hat.
@Kwakie: Es geht nicht darum, ob das verhalten akzeptabel ist, sondern dass es inzwischen zu einer Art Gewohnheit oder gutem Ton geworden ist ständig rumzutrollen und gegen irgendeine andere Partei/Gruppe etc. zu hetzen.
Abgesehen davon ist 5. der größte Schwachsinn, den ich seit langem gesehen habe.
Hier, mein bester: Das mit dem akzeptabel hab ich nur gepostet, da es bei Liquidwolf so kling. Lies bitte alle meine Kommentare durch ; )
Und ausserdem: Warum ist der 5. Artikel großer Schwachsinn? Da gibt es doch ein paar FAkten, die auch ihr tollen OMGler nicht ausschlagen könnt, zB. das bekloppte Proposal eines OMG-Kongressneulings, was ja nun gestartet wurde, oder aber eure Unterstützung für Hunnensohn.
Also kann man dem Artikel nicht als größten Schwachsinn abstempeln, wenn er doch wahre Fakten beinhaltet.

My second answer to all allegations of Wonne. Few of them are even true o.O
- not speaking english: (almost) guilty as charged. There are notable members who don't speak german, and when they are around, we switch language. But most topics and posts are regrettably only in german and we are actually trying to change that now.
- manipulate discussions that concern to the whole Union: Which ones came to mind? This charge is very broad and could by anything. I can't remember manipulating questions of the Germark Union.
- decline every Steinmetz proposal: Wait, what? This charge is silly in my opinion.
- preventing members from political offices: um, I personally did try to coordinate votes for Lyu so that he could come into congress. Regarding congress seats, we usually open a thread long before the election and candidates are registered there as they appear (which favors forumgoers, but how else would we reach people? Mass-PMing?). Regarding Party Presidency, this is also discussed long before the elections, so the last-minute candidate Lyu got some rebuttal (a bit harsh in my opinion, but meh).
- elite rules with iron han😛 We just have not enough really active members who care to be truly active. Anyone can become active and join the "elite"!!
- not knowing every member: true. Our IRC chatroom has more active people from other parties than active chatters from OMG. But we know those who are active.
- not inform people on "how to congress": Partly true, although we provide information on that part. It's not our fault when newbies or mysteriously elected blockers don't read them. Should we spam everyone with that topic?
- supporting criminals: After chatting failed, HuSohn called Otto in RL. Once. While it was neither a very nice nor a very wise move, it hardly defines him as notorious stalker and criminal for life. Also, he didn't call Otto because he was ex-CP, but because he was a thief and HuSo was responsible for MoF, taking his responsability a bit too far.

All I see is the author is really angry at the election results and is using his own anger and frustration and lashing out at his political rivals. A lot of talking points but nothing really substantial to warrant controversy. Rather silly imo.

There was no real need to resign. I wonder how you could be so "thin-skinned".
Especially because you and your colleagues are very good in trolling, "paragraph-riding" and all this stuff.
Some even say you invented this "art" in egerman politics.
But personnely I would appreciate it very much, if congress could start to act a little more seriously again. To the benefit of our cute, little country. And so do all OMG-Members in congress. That´s for sure.
