[EDEN] A New Era for Turkey

Day 1,489, 01:58 Published in Greece Greece by Greek Ministry of Health

Dear members of the Brotherhood of EDEN and Garden of EDEN Alliance

Before announcing Albania and the Netherlands as we promised we would, we have an important matter that we would like to discuss with you on this article.

It is fair to say that this game still enjoys its share of qualities. It is a virtual world where communities from different countries can interact together. We understand that strong rivalries can spark over the shortest of fuses. Countries will go to war with each other, fueled by real-life hate and a need for resources.

On the other hand, when trust and respect exists, interaction between countries can also grow into a strong and mighty tree. And even amongst the most fierce of rivalries, there is room for respect.

It is no secret that EDEN and Turkey have clashed in the field of battle numerous times in the past. We at EDEN have always fought united, under the shade of a single tree. And against that, they have given all they got, defending their country fiercely. Even when they were ignored by their “allies”, they chose to fight us with all they had.

Slowly, they inevitably began to understand that respect and trust are the most important things that someone can give to a country on eRepublik. Slowly they realised that they did not get any of this respect from their “allies”. They looked for these attributes in their enemies. So, ceasefires were signed with their Bulgarian and Greek neighbours. Non-agression pacts ensued.
Peace was given a chance.

The world continued to turn. And today, the Turkish people find themselves leaning towards our Brotherhood. We have united a group of representatives of all EDEN countries to discuss on this matter. And our members, including those who share a feeling of rivalry with the people of Turkey have ALL decided to give our former enemies a chance...

Not a chance to prove their worth. No. They have already proved that in the battlefields.
It’s chance to prove that ONE propaganda about them is wrong.
The chance that the Turkish people were never given by ONE.

So, what does this mean for EDEN?

Cooperation has already started between the EDEN nations and the Turkish government. The first of the fruits of this cooperation is that Israel will be back on the map in time for congress elections. Romania will get their territory back as well. Peace has been signed and so these countries will be restored without any conditions or further hostilities.

Unlike ONE, every member of the Brotherhood has its voice. We would like to make this very clear. We would have never negotiated with a country who wishes to occupy our members. We do not trade family members for raw damage. That is NOT how we roll.
And the Turkish people also know that for a relationship, the most important things are trust and respect. Therefore, Turkish CP, on behalf of Turkey, has decided to immediately give the region of “Nazareth North District” back to the Israelite people, as a gesture of his goodwill. The rest of their territory will be released a few days later, because allies do not occupy eachother.

This is the cooperation we expect to see in a family. Help one another... and their friendship... support... and respect... is exactly what you will get in return.

Once again, we will prove to the world that we are all united under the shade of one tree. We respect each member states opinion and will continue to hear their representatives on this subject, as we have always done before. We do understand that some individuals might still be reluctant about this. Obviously we will give everyone time to adapt this situation. Only together, will we move forward.

Brothers, thank you for your attention and we hope we will be able to bring to you more information concerning this issue soon enough. Feel free to contact us at the HQ should any doubts arise.

EDEN's Interim Public Relations,
S.Ribeiro
