First of all, I would like to thank all people from Tyrol who have voted for me in Tuesday’s Congressional elections! I appreciate the trust you have put in me as a relative newcomer, and I hope to prove a worthy member of eAustrian society!

Now, on the my other job! As the official eAustrian ambassador in the eNetherlands, I have written my first monthly report. I hope many more will follow!

Congress election results

Currently, the eNetherlands hold two regions (Northern Netherlands and Southern Netherlands; the other two are occupied by ePoland) and thus have a twenty seat Congress. A total of 148 votes were cast in this elections, which leads to the following results.

Iron & Wine (I&W): 7 seats (35😵, with 42 votes (28😵
Democratisch Nederland (DemNL): 5 seats (25😵, with 50 votes (34😵
Center-Left Netherlands (CLN): 4 seats (20😵, with 26 votes (18😵
Geuzen Partij Nederland(GPN): 4 seats (20😵, with 25 votes (17😵

Foreign relations

Relations with especially ePoland, en thus the rest of ONE, are very bad. The ePolish have held the Western Netherlands for the larger part of this year, because of its oil resources. As a consequence, the Foreign Office is mainly aiming at further improving relations with EDEN and Terra member countries.

Internal issues

Politics in the eNetherlands have become increasingly partisan in the past few weeks, resulting in a tense climate. Relations between Democratisch Nederland and Iron & Wine have become severely strained. The next CP elections, on November 5th, will probably lead to some very harsh campaigning in the country. I will of course keep you updated.

The other issue is the reform of the eDutch Senate. The Senate is a three person group that was instated to moderate the national forums. After some alleged power abuse disputes, many people wanted a reform, with about as many not wanting any change. This stalemate has continued for about a month now, with several proposals being made, and, in turn, rejected. A new proposal will probably be posted this weekend.

That was it for this month. If you have any remaining questions, feel free to post a comment or to contact me in-game or on the eAustrian forum. I completely understand German, too, so feel free to use either English or German.
