I want holidays abroad! // Quiero vacaciones en el extranjero!!

I have to admit that this though comes to me due to the “wanna do” feeling I get watching the brave soldiers, sacrificing all they own, moving around the world to the now existing conflicts. Who is really making the sacrifice? I think both, in our own way. The question is if this is really necessary.

In the case of international traveling I understand you don’t take your house with you, nor your newspaper or company. But, wouldn’t it be there if you return? Why is there no difference between moving and traveling? A general manager, a politician, a newspaper owner or a regular house owner should be able to travel around the world without loosing everything they worked for. In our society there might not exist the necessity but the choice isn’t there neither. Why can’t I travel abroad without loosing my home, my newspaper, my political charge or MY NATIONALITY? I think there should be a difference.

To be honest, I would love to see the amount of immigrants that a country has. The number of Tourists. We can’t say we have a nationality when it is based on where we live, not where we are born. If a possibility of traveling were established, conditioned to a previous buying of a return ticket and limiting the time you may stay abroad, we could all get out some time. And, in the specific case of warfare, I personally think a Spanish soldier should be a Spanish soldier no matter where he is.

Just a “thinking out loud” idea. 😁


He de reconocer que esta duda me asalta debido a la envidia que me dan los valientes soldados que, sacrificando lo que tienen aquí, se mueven por nuestro mundo para ser participes de los distintos conflictos que ahora tienen lugar. ¿Quién es el que realmente hace un sacrificio? Yo creo que ambos, a nuestra manera. La pregunta que yo me planteo es si esto realmente es necesario.

En el caso de los desplazamientos internacionales yo entiendo que una casa no te la puedes llevar a cuestas, una redaccion de periodico tampoco y una empresa menos. ¿Pero no estaria ahí en caso de volver? ¿Por que no se diferencia entre mudanza y viaje? Un empresario, periodista, politico o un simple dueño de casa deberia de poder desplazarse por el mundo sin tener que perder todo por lo que ha trabajado. En nuestra sociedad no existe la necesidad de ello, pero tampoco existe la posiblidad. ¿Por qué no puedo yo visitar otros paises sin perder mi casa, mi periodico, mi cargo politico y MI NACIONALIDAD? Esto se podria diferenciar.

A decir verdad, me encantaria ver la cantidad de inmigrantes que posee un pais. La cantidad de turistas. No podemos decir que tenemos una nacionalidad mientras esta este vinculada al pais de residencia, no al de nacimiento. Si se estableciera una posibilidad de viaje, sujeta a la previa posesion de ticket de viaje de vuelta y a un tiempo limitado de estancia fuera del pais, podriamos salir todos. Y en el caso especifico de la guerra, un soldado Español deberia serlo donde estuviera.

Solo un pensamiento “en voz alta”. 😁
