Today I bring you interview with GeluRomanu, famous player from eRomania, ex vMOFA and almost president of eRomania.


Area52: Tell us more about yourself (RL and eLife)!
GeluRomanu: RL, hmmm, I'm 22 years old, in 3 months ( 7 january ) I'll make 23. I'm a student, in the 4th year at Law school. Hmm about my eLife don't know what to tell you, I'm playing "the game" for about 2 years (since november 2009). Was party president in Brainstorming Party (rank 4 in eRO at this moment) several times, and vMOFA under Ms.Carmen for 3 months.. Well let's say I was an active citizen during my eLife 🙂 I managed to make a lot of friends in erepublik, was surprised to see at this elections how many people supported me.

Area52: How many hours a day you play erep and what are your favorite parts?
GeluRomanu: I play erepublik when I have free time, think about 5-6 hours per day. My favorite part is of course, the political module. After the military module, because I have very good comrades in my military unit 🙂

Area52: How is your character ingame alike you in RL?
GeluRomanu: My ingame character is exactly the same as my RL character. I'm stubborn, always trying to prove my point of view. I like to avoid problems, like to make friends instead of making enemies, and I like to think of my self that I play smart. I dont give up so easy when I have something in mind.

Area52: You almost won presidential elections... only 81 vote short if I recall... what happened?
GeluRomanu: well I don't know exactly what happened, the fight was close most of time. there were several times when I was in the lead, then he was in the lead ,etc. Well this happened until the night came, when he managed to go at a 30+ votes difference. In the morning difference was 14, but in the end I lost by 81 votes 🙂 I lost, I congratulated him and that's it...

Area52: You had nice goverment list in your article of candidature and he didn't even published one... Now we see some unfamiliar names on his list... Do you think those people can lead country in right direction?
GeluRomanu: Morphine is a military unit commander, and an experienced player, I think he'll manage to do good things in eRO if he wants that. The MoFA is indeed a new name, personally I didn't hear about him too, but that doesn't really matter. What matters the most is that he must do his job properly. eRO lacks people with experience in this domain, we have only few citizens good at foreign affairs (Ms. Carmen, turturica, crista22), so I wish him all a future...

Area52: Are you preparing for next elections and did anybody from current gov asked you to come and maybe do some of your projects?
GeluRomanu: I can't say that yet, I personally don't prepare them. But when the time comes, if someone will propose me to candidate again, I'll think about it. After the election AlexCraciun asked me if a want to team with him. We'll see if he'll need my help he knows where to find me 🙂

Area52: Lately we saw eSerbia and eHungary dominate in our region... They wiped your country and are on way on wiping eCroatia too... What do you think happened and do you see a future for us?
GeluRomanu: I think that eSerbia and eHungary are very strong countries. Why? first of all they have a lot more active players then us, so they can deal more influence than us in a battle. Secondly, they have strong tanks. They wiped us because we lack communication, in my opinion, we're not united as we must be. Last month we were united and managed to erase eSerbia, so we can win if we organize a bit. Yes, eCroatia and eRomania will always have a comun future. The time will come when we'll fight as one again, and then ONE will have problems. But Croatia and Romania aren't enough, all EDEN must participate and TERRA too. One countries are way to powerful at this moment.
