LIBERTAD - USA, new MU

Day 1,412, 06:31 Published in USA United Kingdom by moomoohead

It is my pleasure to announce the launch of Libertads new military unit LIBERTAD - USA. This is Libertads fourth unit and first in USA. This unit gives American citizens the chance to join without having to change their citizenship. We have over 120 members in our four units and fight for the rights of small countries around the world. We are an international brigade of freedom fighters. We are looking for high new members of all strengths to join the team.

The prime mission of Libertad is to provide defensive assistance to nations that are deemed just causes. This may be through the defense of territory or through resistance wars. The goal is to fight for those countries who are battling for their freedom within the margins of ensuring national survival. I will take some questions about the unit, if you have any more please put them in comments or send me a PM.

Toney from Brooklyn, NY asks “Yo Moo, You have been around the fields a few times in this game, Why do you personally like this unit so much?”
I play games like this to have fun not to argue with people, which I found politics tends to bring out. I like the feeling of being a part of a team, which being a member provides. Every day somewhere in the world a small nation is being attacked by a bigger enemy. When 100+ people show up to fight for them and ask nothing in return, the citizens of that country are appreciative. It makes you feel, that you’re logging in makes a difference. It also makes you feel like you are making a difference when you fight together in small battles and win.

George W. from DC asks “Is that not un-patriotic not fighting for your country of citizenship”?
We have all fought for America when it has been attacked and will continue to, that goes without saying. But we would prefer to help weaker countries instead of fighting imperialistic wars. We will fight in aggressive wars if they are to obtain resources but not if they are based on nationalistic hatred.

Sally-May from Texas asks “How do you get supplies, is it a good deal?”
Sally I know you love your guns down in” God’s Country”, and I love your accent. To answer your question, we operate commune systems for members who want to work in them but a lot of our members self-supply, if it is everyone’s choice. Some people ask me what our daily rations are, as if they are shopping around for the best deal. I tell them not to join. We do not get government funding so we not give the most out compared to national armies. We want commited members not hired guns. BUT we give weapons out equally to all ranks, have a completely transparent system to see who got what, and some of our senior members help our junior members with food and guns. Sally we work as a team, if you are looking to join a militia for the best gun deal, then join a national army. If you want to feel like your logging in makes a difference, then join our team.
Gino from the South Philly asks “A lot of your members are Greek, I do not speak Greek, is that a problem”
I have been in the unit from the start and have been able to communicate just fine. Most of the members speak English fluently with some live in English speaking countries in real life. Our Irish unit has 30+ members. Libertad has several RL Americans in it already.

Barack from Chicago asks “If I become a member, what do I have to do?”
Where the unit frame as an avatar and fight where needed. You have to join the in game military unit and if you want supplies work in a unit company. If you go away for a couple of days in real life let someone knows. Stop in on the IRC and say hi regularly. We would also love to have you join us Barack.

Moon Child from California asks “You convinced me so what do I need to do”
Sign up in game and send me a PM telling me you joined. Tibulus will send you joining instructions and sort out all the details. We already got a few pretty cool members and more are welcome. Libertad always helps out new players who bring energy to the team, all are welcome.

One last thing before I end this news conference. We all get together Sunday night for fight night. If you want to meet the members and see what we are about before joining, send me a PM and I will give you instructions on where to meet.

Thanks for your time.
