Thanks for the maaany comments on my first polandball comic some days ago. It has given me even more insight, and I also did some google research. Even more important, I feel obliged to give some response to your comments.

First, thanks for everyone who enjoyed my version of polandballs and said so.

Some people obviously don't link the polandballs to marbles or billard balls in their dirty minds, but instead think of a *different* variety of balls (fits with the irregular shape). Well, in some cases, in some comics, this might be true. However, I'll try to run a clean and healthy show here, and what I draw WILL be billard balls. And if polandball wields a club for fighting, than this is not to compensate for anything - he IS stronger - and it's not symbolic for anything, but it's the weapon of polandballs choice to beat things up. No more, no less.

Then, on the poland ball flag and red-top-white-bottom, or white-top-red-bottom. 3/4 of comics I found with google used the Indonesian flag, for whatever reason: for the lulz? to express that polandball is a fool? Dunno. 1/4 of the comic used the Polish flag. I'm gonna stay with the "correct" version until someone convinces me otherwise. My reason to do this is because a flag that is shown bottom down is considered "humiliated" in most national traditions worldwide. I'll give polandball at least this little respect. I mean, he looks crappy and cannot into space, that's hard enough.

On the "everyone can imitate it" part: Yes. That's why I explained how I produced them, it's nothing magical about it. Furthermore, I'm always trying to convert the heathen into not using paint for drawing anymore. 😎 And the "better" versions of the usual/crappy art also need a lot of time and some skill or experience to draw... Also, I found enough not-totally-crappy versions in the internet.

Danke für die VIEELEN Kommentare zu meinem ersten Polandball-Comic vor einigen Tagen. Das hat mir einige Einblicke verschafft, und ich habe noch etwas mehr Google-Recherche betrieben. Noch wichtiger, ich möchte auf einige Kommentare antworten.

Zuerst, vielen Dank an alle, die meine Polandballs mögen und es gesagt haben.

Einige Leute mit schmutzigen Hirnen denken bei Polandballs offenbar nicht an Murmeln oder Billardkugeln sondern an eine bestimmte Sorte Eier (dazu passt auch die unregelmäßige Form). Nun, in einigen Fällen und in einigen Comics mag das passen. Ich habe aber vor, meine Show hier von kranken Einflüssen fernzuhalten, und was ich zeichne, SIND Billardkugeln. Und wenn Polandball im Kampf die Keule schwingt, dann nicht um für irgendetwas zu kompensieren - er ist stärker - und es ist auch kein Symbol für gar nix, sondern es ist die Waffe, die Polandball genommen hat, um Sachen zusammenzuschlagen. Und Basta.

Dann, die Frage ob Polandball rot-weiß oder weiß-rot gefärbt sein muss. Drei Viertel der Comics, die mir Google zeigt, verwenden tatsächlich die Indonesische Flagge, warum auch immer: Für den Lulz? Um zu zeigen, dass Polandball doof ist? Weißnich. Ein Viertel hat die Flagge richtigrum, und das wird auch meine Linie sein, zumindest wenn mich niemand vom Gegenteil zu überzeugen versteht. Das werde ich machen, weil es fast überall auf der Welt als Zeichen der nationalen Schande gilt, wenn die Flagge falschherum weht. Polandball bekommt wenigstens dieses bisschen Respekt von mir. Sehr ihn bloß an, er sieht scheiße aus und kann nicht ins All, das ist schon ein hartes Schicksal.

Und zum Teil mit dem "jedermann kann es nachmachen": Genau. Deswegen habe ich erklärt, wie ich's gemacht habe, es ist nichts magisches dran. Außerdem versuche ich immer, die Heiden zu bekehren, die noch Paint zum Zeichnen verwenden. 😎 Und einige Versionen des typischen Zeichenstils waren offenbar auch harte Arbeit und brauchen Talent oder Erfahrung, um sie hinzuzaubern. Und ich habe übrigens auch nicht-komplett-miese Zeichenstile im Netz gefunden.
