My Intentions to run for President.

Hello Ireland,
I would like to make an announcement this evening, a very important one. Before I make it please know that I'm saying this in all seriousness and mean it with all my heart.
I am intending to run for the Irish Presidency next term.
I have always enjoyed this community and I've always admired the great leaders it has produced; moomoohead, Ibhoy , Nogin the Nog , CT, Marcus, Kolshire to name a few.
But looking at Ireland now and I despise what we have become. We're in a never ending loosing war, we have a congress with a majority who care about medals more than the people they represent and we have a crippled bank and economy that is a victim to economic famine.
Over the next few days I will forward my intentions to the Party Presidents that make up our country, I will inform them of my plans for the country and appeal for a national unity to tackle our problems. I have already begun forming a cabinet. I have set goals for each position and am currently in talks with a number of experienced citizens. If you feel like being a part of my team then please PM me and let me no.
I know there are many of you who cannot take me seriously, that will read this article and think that I'm "trolling" but I'm not. There's nothing funny about the situation we're in. This war is a cancer once that needs to be put into remission. I have done my very best to help our survival. Ask the staff in the ICA and the IA, I have worked fully with them in the two Resistance Wars I organised. I am one of the longest serving citizens in this country I want to leave a positive mark on it.
There is a dream that is Ireland, it shall be fulfilled.

This is a well written article, best of luck Padraig. Looking at what Ireland has become we need somebody with this kind of enthusiasm to pull us out of the hole we're in.

Do we really? IEP is rated higher than the USD, the GBP, the HUF or the ESP. Top wage offers are above average. Raw Materials are priced slight above average but still close. Taxes are low, and I have not heard about any budgetary problems either. Global economy shows little sign of a quick recovery, however it seems to at least have stabilized in the past two months.
Yes, indeed, company managers' profits are low, but that's the same everywhere. But we really shouldn't keep whining out of sheer habit.
