War module is live

Day 139, 23:59 Published in USA by Plato

Dear Citizens,

War module is live

One of the most expected features in Erepublik is now live. It took a lot of work, pizzas and energizers for our team to create from zero this new and original module. We want to thank the Erepublik community for its patience and also for the interesting ideas offered regarding the war module.
We have used the [a url=http://wiki.erepublik.com]Erepublik wiki[/a] to post two war [a url=http://wiki.erepublik.com/index.php/Tutorial]tutorials[/a]. There you can find information about some possible war situations and how a fight page actually looks.
Since it is a completely new module, the war system might have some problems. We plan to focus in the next 2 weeks completely on resolving bugs (not only related to the war module) and fine tunning this new complex feature. Just like every other module in Erepublik, we will be taking on board your feedback to keep improving it.
So please remember to report any problem, idea or suggestion by using the [a url=http://www.erepublik.com/contact.html]contact form[/a] and we will be happy to read and respond to them.

Romania and Moldova union

It looks like one of the first wars in Erepublik will be in fact a union between 2 countries. The Presidents of Romania and Moldova decided to unite their countries taking into consideration the historical connection between them and the fact that the majority of Citizens in Moldova consider themselves Romanians. Both Presidents opened referendums ( [a url=http://www.erepublik.com/article-175431.html]Romanian referendum[/a] [a url=http://www.erepublik.com/article-175252.html]Moldavian referendum[/a] concerning this proposal and a majority of voters agreed with the union.

We will start offering automatic wars coverage on the homepage so that Citizens can be informed about the latest events in the Erepublik war-zones.

We have also created a [a url=http://www.erepublik.com/mpplist.html]page[/a] where you can easily see all the present mutual protection pacts.

Thank you for your support,

The Erepublik team
