#73 Mass Resignation

Day 1,316, 16:14 Published in United Kingdom United Kingdom by Gambit8

Hello Readers!

Now first of all I shall right some more news tomorrow when I have slightly more time. 🙂

Okay now onto my resignations.

First of all, I resigned as Party President of ESO.
Why?

Well, people in the party lack support and expect you to know absolutely everything about running a party even though it's my first time and to be fair, apart from my absence during congress I would have to say I did pretty good. It's the presidential elections that got me annoyed, apparently I wasn't organising it in the absolutely flawless, perfect way they are oh so used to running things.
To be honest I didn't see a problem with how I was running things, yes there were a few flaws but I don't see why people can't just shut up and do it because at the end of the day the party were complaining for the sake of complaining.
Now I don’t mind complaining, but it has to be attached to some useful advice or critisims that could help me improve the way I’m running things. I direct quote if ‘Is this a joke’. That was it, that was the entire post, no advice, no reasons behind this particular comment, nothing. Just complaints and sarcasm just for the sake of doing it. And I get this every other day, and I just can’t take it.

Now for my other resignation, the British Army.
I was the General of the Army and led the branch which means I have to sort things out here and there and to be fair ever since I became Colonel it’s been work work work. I hated it within the first week. I then got a promotion due to the changes, unfortunately because of the changes it was the same as being a Colonel except twice as many people to keep in check increasing the already rather annoying workload. At least with the smaller regiments it had some fun involved because it was less people, easier to get active and talk to on the IRC and it was pretty fun to chat to people y’know but now it’s just too much for me to take and with people in command getting on at me to supply and what not all the fun has been sucked out of it. This isn’t a game anymore, it’s work, which is NOT WHAT I WANT. I WANT TO HAVE FUN!!

I tried cutting corners such as no longer using the regimental tracker sheet which to be fair had no use anyway since the warning system was not used by anyone that I know of. I also found HUB activity to be stupid since we have Military Units to check activity and for the recruits to check orders so chasing up on that was stupid. I also found it annoying to tell of friends in the army, I don’t want to tell people off, they can do what they like. If they don’t want to be active everyday then let them not be active everyday, stop dictating people’s lives for god’s sake.
There’s also pressure added to make your branch look good as the Navy like to brag all the time, sometimes I picture in my head me caving their arrogant faces in. I mean, I’m doing the best I can, what more do people want from me? I have school, I need to study, I need to sleep. I can’t be awake 24/7 getting ready to supply my branch at the correct time.
Can I get a coffee?
No, sit down and add soldiers to your branch NOW.
Okay done now can I get a coffee?
NEW ORDERS, update on your MU otherwise you get a whipping and people bragging at you because they’ve already done it

Then when it comes to improving the UKAF the UKSF jumps in and says that everything should go to them. To be honest it should be called UKSTF, UK special treatment forces. Not to mention command is incompetent, especially since Ecksohh was forced to resign as MoD, again most of command is UKSF. Special Forces is about right.

UKSF on leave

Thanks for reading, I’m sure most people on the internet like to feed of people’s misery, go ahead, I don’t care. Everybody has an eMental breakdown 😉

Edit: Elle Roslin, Smack Dat, Xmac and Emergy Maxfell are some pretty cool guys (and gals) 😉
