Switzerland and the World

Day 1,232, 14:53 Published in Switzerland USA by Penguin4512

Greetings, welcome and prepare yourself for some pure awesomeness delivered you in the form of a literary masterpiece.

More or less.

I've gotten kind of bored of Swiss politics lately, so instead I'll address some issues that are much more important... geopolitics of the rest of the eWorld, and how they affect us. Hopefully, you'll all be satisfied with what I've written. If not, too bad.

Europe:
NWO (the New World Order) is on the move. Steamrolling through the Balkans, Western and Southern Europe and through independent countries such as Austria, the members of this fearsome alliance seem near unstoppable. Bolstered by the 10 gold limits, the NWO powerhouses are aided by the loss of Terra’s tanks and by their opponent’s uncoordinated war efforts.

As we speak, Spain and Poland cut deep into France. The capital and stronghold of the French forces, Paris, is surrounded on both sides. It is doubtful that the French will be able to hold their region in the case of an attack.

In the Balkan Peninsula, Croatia and Romania fight for their survival against Hungarian and Serbian hordes. Meanwhile, FYROM (Macedonia), an ally of the NOW, is subjugating the near defenseless Italians. Greece and Bulgaria are the only undiminished opposition forces still remaining in the area, though Greece has recently lost its foothold in Turkey.

In other news, Serbia still remains in UK despite the polarizing of the two countries in foreign relationships. If we can learn anything from Poland’s regions in the USA, then it is entirely possible that Serbia will capitalize on this in coming weeks.

Retaking Romandie:
Only yesterday, Swiss troops recovered Romandie from the hands of a preoccupied France. The startling victory was funded and fought by the Sons of Anarchy, a foreign group that we know almost nothing about.
If there is anything to say about the Sons of Anarchy, it is that they don’t talk much. They haven’t had any article, no forum use, and have not participated in political or military affairs up till now. Quite frankly, I have no idea who they are.

It is possible that they could simply be an independent group aimed for a more peaceful life in Switzerland. If so, Switzerland should be thankful. It’s not often we get a group of friends that can win every single minibattle against a much stronger opponent.

We have yet to see the truth behind their coming. But for the time being, much obliged.

Paul Proteus Aims for Bigger and Better Things:
Switzerland isn’t exactly known for its graduates. Most of our nation’s members, such as Clifford, have been here their entire existence, while others simply fizzle out when leaving.

In short, Switzerland is a death trap. Very few get out of here alive. But it seems that one player is about to break this trend. Paul Proteus, two times former president of Switzerland, is currently on the ballot for Vice President of the United States of America.

As well as being the Party President of the Libertarians (the third largest party in America), Paul has also occupied numerous positions in the political cabinet. Earlier this month, he was approached by Henry Arundel (also known as Pfeifer), who asked him to be his VP in his presidential run. Now, scarcely weeks later, Arundel has secured the USWP nomination and is one of the favorites for the election.

Paul and Henry will be facing off against Emerick, who, ironically, won the Libertarian nomination, as well as the Independents and Federalists. Emerick will be a tough challenge to overcome, but if anyone can do it, Paul can.

(Hey, Son of Stormkin, Imma let you finish, but Paul Proteus had the greatest Swiss campaign of all time. OF ALL TIME.)

Let Paul serve as a lesson to us. Our battles in the quagmire that is Swiss politics may have lent some of us useful tools when it comes to the political module, persistence and a good work ethic. To learn more about the subject, I secured an interview with Paul himself.

Why did you journey to the US?
-I came to the eUS because Switzerland had changed, a lot of my personal heroes and friends had left and even after the burst of activity the army I created started, it was still a different place. I was a bit frustrated, and tho I loved Switzerland and still knew some cool people there, I just needed a change in scenery.

How did you become so successful? Do you have any tips?
-Success? You need to be active, when I first came to the eUS I just chilled on the IRC and blocked (though through an alleged PTO attempt I got in) Even for the next two months, it was relatively quiet and I just let people get to know me. Last month though it picked up, with Glove's victory I got appointed OMS director and a small role in state, then I ran and won Libertarian party president and I'm where I am now.

Would you say that your experiences in Switzerland helped you get to where you are today?
-Yes, definitely, I was fortunate enough to make all my noob mistakes in Switzerland, so by time I got to the eUS nobody could laugh at me 😁. Seriously though, I played all kinds of roles in Switzerland, as a Party President, a Vice President, and eventually the CP, the US is just a much larger scale. I came to the eUS prepared for anything, and it has let me take on jobs that otherwise I would have no idea how to do. The intuition and common sense in this game I gained has proven irreplaceable, Thank you Switzerland 🙂
