March Month End Report - Economic League Table
Kaleb
Right, it's voting day so it's the end of the political month in Erepublik and time for me to write my first proper month-end report. I'll be doing one every election day from now on so we can see which countries have performed the best socially and economically over the last month. Tomorrow I hope to do a political turnout report and show which countries I think have been the top performers for the month of March.
I am also adding in Argentina and Austria to make a top 20. Percentage changes are from Feb 29th and are only for the 15 countries I have been monitoring the whole month.
Position changes are from my last report (Friday 28th)

you r avesome kaleb.thanks for the info 🙂
Wow. The UK\'s really starting to make a name for itself economically.
IRL, France has one of the highest GDP/working hour, due to our high number of holidays.
And here we have the best GDP/capita ? Does it mean our salaries are still too high ?
Would there be a way to add a \'Cost of Living\' to this, as RER only shows us the prices in respective countries, would it be better to do this as gold?
That said, gj as always, Indonesia soon to be printing 10MillionDollar bills?
@Ip: I\'m not sure why Indonesia\'s RER has shot up so much. One factor I know of is they have put import tariffs up massively and this has caused a lot of inflation. I also know they are particularly fond of price fixing regimes to sort their problems out and my guess is there is some kind of cartel going on
The RER is basically the cost-of-living in Gold terms as it\'s a comparison of GDP\'s by PPP. When you calculate GDP is terms of currency exchange value (like you put all GDP in dollars for example based on the dollar trade rate) you then have to show the cost of living in terms of dollars (so the UK\'s high GDP will be meted by the fact it has a high cost of living for example). But measuring in terms of PPP is more accurate as it takes cost of living into account when comparing currencies to start with.
@Papa: It doesn\'t mean salaries are too high. It just means you have the most efficient economy as you are producing and selling more goods and investing more gold in the economy per citizen and per worker than any other country.
Some countries may produce more but perhaps these products are not being sold, or they are being exported at a loss, or they aren\'t investing much gold (company formation, upgrades, export licenses etc).
Kaleb, could you add GDP/Capita growth?
good job!!
I miss the comments!
Is there an aggregate overview for the whole of eRepublik? Total increase of active players, etc.
I should probably do that too actually, or at least do the total for the top 20
