Rubber Soul

Day 1,179, 13:51 Published in USA USA by Jude Connors

Take a moment and join the offsite USA Forums. It is a great place to get help, meet other eAmericans to interact with, and also where to get active in the "metagame" - the game behind the game!

Mexico Declared Natural Enemy:
War Begins Again!

It's indeed time to get that NE bonus when you fight again. According to eUSA Minister of Foreign Affairs Alexander Hamilton, the [url=http://www.erepublik.com/en/article/america-i-m-here-with-news-no-less-1671580/1/20
eUSA and eMexico have come to terms on a deal that secures rubber for our great nation[/url].

a gooduse for rubber

This does not come free, however. In the trade for the Southeastern Mexico, we will give the regions of Louisiana (oil), Arkansas (grain), and New Mexico (cattle). Because of that, eAmericans living in those areas are urged to move to a different American region. I suggest Missouri and will supply the first five people who message me with a ticket to move to the state in which I am a Congressman.

a better use of rubber

Fittingly, Congress "rubber"-stamped the Executive's decision for the deal with little to no discussion. Truthfully, we don't lose anything in this deal as we have other grain, oil, and cattle regions. The addition of rubber only strengthens the eUSA as a superpower, economically and militarily, and the deal struck shows the uncanny diplomatic skills of the new Cabinet, strengthening the nation politically. This is a win-win deal, and I voted in support of this decision by the State Department. In fact, I also get something out of the deal...

Just kidding... or am I?

Please remember that this deal with Mexico is a good thing, so try your best to NOT defend the regions of New Mexico, Arkansas, or Louisiana. In fact, try to help the weak Mexicans out by fighting alongside them.

INCI
Are they an issue or a blessing?

The INCI are here. The INCI are queer! And the US Forums (and especially the Congress forum) are buzzing about this group. Are they here to just grow economically because eUSA is rich in resources or are they here to PTO us?

Personally, I have spoken to some of the Leadership of INCI and right now, I would say that I am guardedly optimistic about the intentions of this group. They seem to be a fun-loving group that likes breasts and cracking jokes... much like you and I.

A few days ago, I was contacted by INCI member Bogdan S about American citizenship. I spoke to an IES (Immigration) Agent about the request who informed me that IES has yet to develope a policy on INCI citiEnship requests. This being the case, I went to the leader of INCI, Gs10 to ascertain that Bogdan S was indeed a member in good standing of INCI and was authorized by the "friendly" INCI leadership to become an eAmerican. After a couple of days and messages of dialogue with Gs10, I decided to approve the citizenship request.

It was then that the INCI member of the eUSA Congress spoke against the citizenship request. This shows me that there is a huge problem with communication and brings up a more pressing issue for eUSA-INCI relations - integration.

"In Ci We Trust"?

eUSA Secretary of Education Blank Keating offers a great "How-To Manual" on the steps that INCI should take to better integrate with the eAmerican population. I hope INCI Leadership reads this and encourages their members to do exactly what it says. There is only one way to establish dialogue between our two groups.

This being said, "guarded optimism" will soon turn to distrust if the INCI move into a position of power as a Top Five political party. I just feel that right now is not the time for the INCI to move into such a powerful position. I believe that more dialogue and the aforementioned integration must be greater before such trust is completely earned. I believe that this should be the case with any group of outsiders.

Because of this, I am running for Party President of the former SEES party. The time has not come to entrust any group of outsiders with the power that comes with a Top Five party.

If INCI wants to prove that they are not here to PTO the eUSA, as they have stated many times over, then I suggest that they split their party membership into two separate parties and stay out of the Top Five, if just for now.

Hopefully, I am over-reating, but if I am not; I want to make sure that national security is our top priority. Please work with us and prove to the eUSA that you are not looking to PTO the nation, INCI.

RUBBER IS GOOD!

Till next time...
