For once, I Will try to keep this short & simple. So to quote Douglas Adams (and also a friend who used it recently), 'Don't Panic'.

If I were a newbie, to me the last week would seem most strange. In most cases I'd have gone from working in an Indian company, to suddenly working in a Pakistani company overnight. I'd see first Pakistan attack and beat the s*** out of us, and now China attacking Pakistan & our original regions one after the other. And now if I were in India, I'd still have no clue what's going on, as there are hardly any companies, parties or even Citizens.

As promised - short & simple - so won't go into explaining everything. Its Not as bad as it looks.
Here's why:
~ Pakistan wiped us out in retaliation to past grievances, and now is the best time to get our baby boom using this as a motivator. Nothing like a good enemy to bring out the best in us.
~ China is NOT our enemy, and are aiding us tremendously in our efforts to liberate our regions. We have also manged to regain 3 regions through Resistance Wars, thanks to IAF & allied forces.
~ The eIndian Government is working its a** off trying to get jobs, parties & the Citizens back, not only to full strength, but better than we ever were.
~ Given that we are mostly starting off with a clean slate, so to speak, there are numerous opportunities for new & old players to get involved - new business ventures, fresh structure of 'posts' in Governance, a rock solid military under newly appointed Minister of Defense, Ashwamedh.

The point is, are YOU the one who will be instrumental in rebuilding India? Are YOU the one who will reflect back someday, thinking, 'man that was some good times!'? Will you have an active role to play in eIndia's most crucial test ever, or will you just shirk responsibility thinking, its someone else's job.

It won't be easy; never is. But we have faith, that not only will things turn around, but this time; this crucial few days when we rise from the ashes, will be a true test of our character; it'll show the world what eIndians are!

Let words not be the only weapon we use; rather let action be our weapon of choice.

Seriously, on a different note, I got a forfeit point from dear ol' Admin, for commenting on a Dioist article saying: 'The idiocy continues'. While some people need to get a life, and I couldn't care less for 5 FP's, I wouldn't want my fellow eIndians to be at the receiving end of other people's lack of intelligence; so I request you to refrain from getting into any war of words. Let our actions speak for themselves.

Towards that end, I request all eIndians to read & comment on Ashwamedh's Census & his Clarion Call, President Swadhin's Updates, Devoid's Finance Ministry update and Sharry & India101's articles.

Moreover, please head over to the eIndia Forums for updates on recent Government decisions, Party Formation, Army updates, revival of Financial Committee of India, & Ambassador recruitment program. ALL Vital threads are put up on the Announcement Section on the Homepage. Its very vital that EVERY eIndian Citizen checks these updates & participates in some form or the other.

I am sure you'll have many more questions, and suggestions, possibly complains too: please feel free to comment either in the respective threads or make new ones as relevant. We'll try to respond and address your concerns the best way possible.

[UPDATE: New Indians join this company, till matters are sorted. Also all those who have companies stuck in Pakistan contact Minister of Finance/Finance Committee members on forum.

On a very sad note, David Forde, has quit. He was quite stretched with RL stuff, and wanted a break anyways. Whether he too will be back someday, we can only hope so. My dearest friend, he'll surely be missed by all. I am not going into an eulogy, as firstly his accomplishments don't need words, and secondly, if and when he comes back, I'll look pretty stupid.

Time to step up eIndia. Don't catch a cold & given its festive season, don't waste your festive spirits though internal disagreements or foul-mouthing with the Dioist kiddie brigade.
So that's that.
