1. Thank-Yous

I would first off like to thank the Conservative Party/Republican Exiles. It has been a long and tedious month for them. First being taken over by Ajay/Pizza and then working so hard to implement a new Party Leader to challenge him in the elections yesterday to no avail (talked about more later). Through and through, they were tough, understanding and fought where they needed to fight. That was against Pizza. You guys are the real winners today. Congratulations.

Second, I would like to thank everyone who was in IRC yesterday. I was going to specifically list some names, but figured that anyone who was in #ATO knows who they are and who they were with. You guys worked non-stop all day to watch every election, every party, every statistic non-stop. You worked your asses off and it paid off and paid off well. Fantastic work. Being in that room was one of the best experiences I've had in this game and made me remember why I keep playing.

Third, I'd like to thank Congress. You guys moved fast with approving citizenship when necessary and keeping in check with Party Officials to keep things running smoothly and furthering the efforts that led to a fantastic win yesterday.

Fourth, I'd like to thank the CIA, FEC and the WH. Through confusion and a bit of trouble in the beginning of the day, you all pulled together early on and allowed this success to take place.

Fifth, and maybe most importantly, I want to thank the nation as a whole. The citizens were extremely pro-active. They read all the ads, shouts, articles and chats to keep up to date with what needed to be done. Without you, the voters, this would have been impossible.

2. What Happened Yesterday?

I don't want to dwell on this because the outcome exceeds the troubles, but yesterday was confusing due to lack of communication. Mainly on the parts of me and Rod Damon. Rod and I even lacked in communication between each-other. For the past 3 weeks I've been planning to take Ajay out and how to build the party so that it would become the strong 6th party it should be. In the mean time, the FEC was working with the Republicans in Exile to put someone from their party in to beat Ajay. Lines weren't completely open and it resulted in me running as well as Richard Nixon running. Many of the Party Presidents, WH and FEC didn't completely know of our plans and it got confusing. In the end, everyone pulled together and that is what counts. In fact, the quickness of how things were handled almost makes what happened yesterday better. It allowed us to know how efficient we can be even when we've been previously inefficient in communication. I have taken full blame for the confusion and will stand by it.

3. What's to Come?

First of all, I will be changing the name of the party to something permanent in the coming days. Conservative Party just makes us remember Ajay and we don't want that. In the coming days, I will be getting together with the Republicans in Exile as well as some citizens that I will bring in to help decide what to do with this party. I have no intentions of changing the party's political stance. That is not an option. What will be changed is how the party will protect itself from future ATOs. With a team that I want to construct in coordination with the Republicans in Exile, we will come up with a plan that will ensure the safety of the 6th Party Seat. 6th Parties are tricky because they can either protect the nation in elections or they can threaten the top 5 Party's (and Congress and President)'s future elections. This is a serious matter and will be dealt with as quickly as possible, but it won't be rushed simply to give the Republicans back what is rightfully theirs. The Republicans hold an important place and because of their vulnerability, things need to be done right.

I will be the sitting Party President for the duration of this month. That does not mean that I will be the Acting Party President when it comes to their Political stance. In our conferences, we will determine who they want to lead their party in the political sense.

In Conclusion

TLDR Version: We WON! I screwed up, but it worked out in the end. Republicans will have their party back.

What We've Made Him Resort To

I will be PMing those who I feel are a necessity in the planning to come this evening. In the mean time, rejoice in knowing that Pizza failed yesterday and that we really pulled through as a nation! Feel free to comment below with questions. I will answer as frequently as possible.

Sincerely Yours,
