My Congressional Run in Maine
Heero Blaze
My fellow Americans,
It is an honor to announce my candidacy for Congress in Maine.
This great state deserves a great representative in Congress and I will fill that role. As the official candidate of the Federalist Party, a party that exhibits excellence in political, economic, military, and social thought, I will work towards the improvement of the welfare of all Americans.
Some of you may ask what experience I will bring to Congress. As a member of the Federalist Party, I have taken on a variety of positions. I am a Precinct Captain for the Federalist Outreach Program, where I learned how to effectively communicate through mass messaging. As Chief Financial Officer of the Federalist Business Department, I have learned how to carefully organize a business and how economics function in general.
I have also served in our nations armed forces. As Private First Class in the Training Corps, I have bought many battles in defense of our nation. Whether it was defending Alaska and California from the Russians, or the most recent expedition into Far Eastern Russia, I have always been there keeping American safe from foreign invasion.
My goals will be simple:
1.Daily Participation: I’ve worked everyday in my eLife and I will translate that into working for the people. I vow to read every argument, debate every issue, and vote every time. Congress is for dedicated citizens, not for passive ones. Everyday I put in the effort to manage companies, fighting in battles, and do my daily routine. In Congress, I will apply that same work ethic.
2.Transparent Government: As Congressman, I will continually update you via this newspaper on important debates and issues. I do this not simply so that I can track the issues, but for Americans to have a greater awareness of politics.
3.Promote Education: Gone are the simply days where Americans clicked one button to work, one button to train, and five to fight. Now it is a delicate balance of time management, strategic deployment, and balancing personal finances. Whether its through supporting universities or personal mentors, I will seek to have knowledge available for everyone. An educated American is a strong American.
The successful execution of these goals will translate into a stronger America. As Congressman I will work for the greater good, for all Americans to live a successful life. I have worked the great American lands, fought on foreign soil to protect our freedom, and now seek to achieve excellence in the political arena. Remember to vote Heero Blaze on August 25th, you will not be disappointed.

Key: ~~ indicates what was intended to be a line break.
*word* indicates that the word should have been in bold or have extra emphasis when reading aloud or in your mind.
"This great state deserves a great representative in Congress and I will fill that role." Really? Are you sure aobut that? I'm not. In fact I am completely unconvinced. You've already alienated me. "As the official candidate of the Federalist Party, a party that exhibits excellence in political, economic...." Excellence? The Feds? Since when? You guys will not even allow Tiacha to help your party out. She's one of the greatest Feds ever (one of maybe three or four) and you disown her while embracing Henry Arundel, a convicted (and banned) multi-accounter. ~~ Your experience within the Federalist Party does not impress me in the least. In fact, all these annoying images you have in your article are really getting on my nerves. Your in-party experience means nothing to me. Give me something more.
~~ Your work in the armed forces is a positive... oh wait it's in the Training Corps. Nevermind, I remain unimpressed.
~~ Your goals seem to be more simple-minded than simple, but go on. Clicking a couple buttons every day of your elife does not translate into reading and posting on every topic in the Congressional board on eUS Forums. This government will never be transparent. Tiacha, I, Cromstar and others all worked on it previously. You inevitably have some other person who will object enough to win everyone else over. We need education most certainly, but it seems we need it more for our real lives than this game, so if you would please provide real life education for some of the nine-year-old players of this game, *I* would appreciate it.
~~
In conclusion, I see nothing of substance here. How do you expect me to vote for you if you have no real platform? So to recapitulate my comment in short: no experience, no intelligence, no platform, no vote. Good day and good luck.
Ian you should be a food critic. LMAO. Once again not the best platform I have ever seen but it is better than another Pizza troll article. I give it a D+. This candidate is endorsed by the Federalist party and none of mine or anyone else's comments should be taken seriously.
JDR1986, why should my concerns not be taken seriously? I am entirely serious in my criticisms. His "platform" is a extremely poor argument as to why he should be in Congress. Should I go by his extreme overuse of the image tag? Or should I go by his deficit in anything worthy of the category "experience"? I do not know the Maine race well, but I would likely guess that there is another candidate with more experience and intelligence (although finding both is hard, I admit).
for the record, Ian and I are cool, he's just being a dick.
"for the record" Henry Arundel is a close friend of mine. But my concerns are still very much valid.
I agree, Tiacha's opinion carry more weight with me than almost anyone else's. She's one of my favorite people in eRep.
And yet the Federalist Party as a whole rejects her opinions. This is truly a disgrace. I would like to point out that I only brought it out to show how little weight the backing of this party holds in my personal opinion.
I love my Feds, but every party has something they need to work on.
For the record I run all candidates equally, and to bash one candidates platforms and not another's is a bit hypocritical. If you are going to critique each of my candidates articles then you should also critique all of the USWP candidate articles. We are not all "oldfgts" and we won't all have the experience for the job. But many people that do have the experience are too inactive or worthless to perform the job in congress. I would rather 10 new guys that do something then 20 "oldfgts" that sit around inactive and do nothing. Congress has become a cesspool of inactivity putting out nothing more than a budget and a few donation votes. Not everyone will do good in congress and not everyone has the experience to write a decent platform. But if they are willing to try to fix the broken system than they should be given a chance.
FTR, I'm not critiquing this platform, merely responding to Ian. This looks like a typical first term platform, and there is nothing wrong with that.
JDR, you assume that I am some kind of super human article commenter. You said in #uswpchat not a few minutes ago that few candidates' articles were out yet. I critique them as I see them. I've already criticized ADTP, Republican Party AND Fed platforms. You are trying to invalidate my very valid arguments by making it seem as if I'm bigoted against the Feds' candidates, which I most certainly am not. I certainly have a very poor opinion of the party as a whole, but if I see even a half-way decent candidate, I am likely enough to complement them. If I do not see anything worthy in their article I promise I will pick apart their platform. Finally, there is nothing to indicate that this candidate can not edit his platform and add to it where I indicated he is lacking. The same goes for every candidate. In fact, it would be more honest of them to put out an entirely new article admitting their faults and reconciling them with an actual campaign platform, but god forbid we actually make our candidates work for their position. No, no, I do encourage you to snipe for this mindless fool.
Henry, this is where you and I disagree entirely. In a party that touts excellence, you would expect it's "oldfgt" members (as JDR calls them) to maybe review or comment on the articles its candidates plan to publish. I don't entirely blame Heero Blaze in this case. In fact, I wouldn't be surprised if it was someone's job to do exactly what I said but instead they decided to just tell the candidates to publish what they wanted. Am I surprised? No. It has happened before in other parties. Does this make it right? No, the older members should be endeavoring to help the younger players with their platforms no matter what.
I would also love to see a new platform as I stated myself this article is only slightly above the trolling media of Pizza. I gave my own candidate a D+ and honestly admit that the first term candidates could use a bit of grammar training as well as more government experience outside the Federalist party or any party for that matter. The Federalists want the best for the country and would love to see every candidate with not only a party job but also eUS government job. We would also like to see every candidate with a firm knowledge of game mechanics. I mean TBH it took me six months to even run as an official candidate. But you have critiqued the sixth party newspapers, the adtp, and the Feds. Yet you don't actually look at your own parties papers. So when I pointed out your bias that is what I meant.
Hey everyone, thanks for all the comments. I've read them all and take into consideration everything that has been written so improve my own prospects as a political leader. Please continue to posting comments, I enjoy reading them. 🙂
