THIS WE BELIEVE


The United States Workers Party (USWP) is a multi-tendency democratic socialist political party in the United States, committed to left-wing democratic socialist ideals. The party supports the socialization of industry under public ownership and workers' control. USWP favors a more gradual advancement of government assistance to Americans and public ownership. The party believes in the advancement of educational programs and job skill education and employment by government programs to any citizen seeking such education or employment. The USWP believes in the advancement of all instead of just the privileged few.

We embrace freedom of choice in personal matters, but support significant government control of the economy. We support a government-funded support network to help those in need, advocate strict regulation of business, and promote the idea of public-owned corporations. We expect competence in government and will rigorously vet any candidate that we give the USWP Endorsement. We believe in working with others, from within or without our party, for the betterment of the United States and wholeheartedly support our nation's military and militia groups. In pursuit of these goals, we strive to best represent the United States Worker.
