eSouth Korea is Whole Again! THANK YOU TO ALL WHO HELPED ESK!

Day 919, 17:36 Published in South Korea South Korea by Caley

It has been a long, treacherous few weeks for eSouth Korea. Japan, a country that many eSouth Koreans trusted as if it were South Korea's big brother, attacked Gyeongsangbuk-do at 23:50, on May 6th, 2010 and conquered it the next day. A series of battles in eSK ensued, and, despite signing an MPP with Germany, South Korea was wittled away to only two regions - Gangwon-do and Jeollabuk-do by Japan with most of its foreign help flying in from the USA and Croatia. For a few days, it seemed as though Japan had won the war and crushed all of native eSouth Koreans hopes and dreams of ever getting the rest of their beloved homeland back.

However, little did Japan know, plans to do indeed just that were in the works.

"I don't guarantee victory, but we're going to try", a mysterious voice said through several Mibbit PMs to various trusted eSKers.

After going through a handful of RW strategies, the first "test" resistance war began on Friday, May 21st at 15:01. Eventhough it was just a test RW to see how the Japanese would react, eSouth Korea still managed to win the region back. A glimmer of hope shined in the eyes of every active eSouth Korean. We weren't doomed after all! Citizens from all over the globe picked up their weapons to fight along side South Korea in the resistance wars to follow, and an MPP with Russia was proposed and signed to protect our remaining regions. South Korea won back its capitol, Gyeonggi-do, from the Japanese and held it for about an hour or so before North Korea attacked and conquered it. Russia then attacked Gyeonggi-do and made it theirs so that they could march into Shandong. Finally, today, at 12:52 on May 27th, Russia gave Gyeonggi-do back to its rightful owners, eSouth Korea.

Today is a day for celeration in the victorious land of South Korea. We even have Jeju back for the first time in ages.

Many thanks go out to the countries and groups that helped our nation in its time of need, including but not limited to:

- Germany

- Russia

- Austria

- Turkey

- Portugal

- The ICA of Ireland

- The Comintern

- Various tanks, including (but not limited to) BattalGazi, Shoot, Isy, Alfagrem, and Eisenhorn

- All of the current and previous eSouth Koreans who opened their wallets and fought tooth and nail for their country.

To those who never gave in - to those who kept a fire of hope lit inside themselves during eSK's darkest hour - we thank you sincerely and cannot thank you enough. You made all of this possible.

Congratulations, eSouth Korea! You may now return to your normal e-lives and e-sleep in peace.

Important Sidenotes:

A new hospital is being built in Chungcheongbuk-do! If you are living in eSouth Korea, move to Chungcheongbuk-do for wellness!

Always be prepared for war, and stay active. Nothing hurts a country more than a ton of its citizens being inactive.
