[EDEN] Without Phoenix, the game would be very boring

Day 913, 14:07 Published in Bulgaria Greece by Greek Ministry of Health
After numerous attempts to arrange an interview, I can finally take a seat in a crowded cafe opposite a mysterious looking man dressed in a prominent way. We shake hands as I introduce myself to mihail.cazacu, the Intelligence leader of EDEN. This is no doubt a busy man, so I go straight ahead with my questions.

Last weeks have been rather thrilling with the successful Operation World in Flames and Romanian advance on Bulgarian front. What are your toughts about EDEN's most recent moves?
- We did well overall. We could have done better, for instance we could have won Liaoning already. The best thing beside the military successes is we started to work well with our American allies

How does this improvement in terms of communication affect your future outlook with terms between EDEN and America?
- The job is not finished with the succesful eviction of Serbia from Asia. Phoenix will still have access to the iron of Russia and Brazil. We can't effectively hit any of the two without a good cooperation with the USA. This is why I am very happy we're working better every day.

Yesterday we saw EDEN taking an epic win from Phoenix with EDEN intercepting all of Phoenix's six major attacks. How can victory on this scale be even possible?
- Phoenix made a huge strategic mistake by trying to kill too many birds with a single stone. Northern Cape and Heilongjiang were too tempting for Brazil and Russia so a lot of valuable damage was spent there instead of in Aquitaine and Rhone Alps

Serbia did a great thing for EDEN with wiping out Bulgaria and thereby making Romania's situation easier by closing one of its raging fronts. How do you think this mistake improved EDEN's defences against Phoenix on the Southern European front?
- There was more behind Serbia wiping out Bulgaria than a simple strategic mistake. Phoenix wanted to force the Bulgarians to move to Liaoning. They actually made no secret about it - see Phoenix's own official newspaper. Of course Serbia's obsession with Liaoning helped EDEN to focus on less fronts. They practically helped us to concentrate more on our important targets

So what you are trying to say here is that Phoenix doesn't really appreciate Bulgaria as an ally?
- Phoenix and Peace were always about the small guys being used by the big guys. What better way to move the Bulgarian to Liaoning than telling them Phoenix can't protect them because of having more important priorities?

It looks like Bulgaria should consider a bit its alliance policy. Moving forwar😛 EDEN and Phoenix have launched numerous campaigns against each other in the past and there will be new crusades in the future, so what are your views on why EDEN should be the ultimate survivor of these two supreme powers?
- EDEN has a huge advantage over PEACE/Phoenix - no RL rivalries among its members. RL rivalries fuel the baby-booms, keep people motivated to play the game and determine things like Serbia not helping Hungary in Heilongjiang or Serbia gladly wiping out Bulgaria. Brazil could not really enjoy Argentina having a high diamond region in South Africa while she had been evicted, Bulgaria lost half of her players due to the in-game alliance

With this interview coming closer to its end, I want to ask you if you have any thoughts you would like to share with your allies or foes?
- EDEN should be grateful Phoenix exists. Without them the game would be very boring 🙂
