An interview with a new member of the Army Air Corps

Day 909, 11:53 Published in United Kingdom Sweden by QWERTY95
Ladies and gentlemen, hereby I present you an interview with a new Private in the Army Air Corps – Julian Catman.

When did you start to play eRepublik and why?

- "Wow, long time ago in fact (in October if I believe my account), but I just went 2-clicking for months before getting "a little" more involved in the game and crashed my computer right at that time. So I'm just getting into the game actually, and I seem to be continuing taking it slow. Why? because I had seen heard of it somewhere on the internet maze and wanted to check it out. I've stopped playing video games for some years now so I thought why not, shouldn't hurt, at least I'll work on my English."

In real life you are French, then why are you playing in the United Kingdom?

- "Well, it was a basic "utility"/fun thought. I already live in France and if I want to talk politics in French with French people, well, I got my real life and it's clearly enough for me 😁
Moreover, it was like a challenge for me: will I understand everything? Turns out I understand most parts but got problems with slang and short-cuts (took me time to remember the ministries abbreviations for instance, and I still bug when I read "tbh" even if now I understand it 😁). "

Why did you join the Army Air Corps and not any other part of the army?

- "Smack (who got me in) asked me which one I should join and would not advise me on it, saying there were all equivalent 😁 so I chose the coolest ofc 😁"

Are you happy with your Regiment and the rest of the AAC?

- "I don't have any regiment yet, according to Jennifer MacLeod it's due to the current hub. And yes, for the moment I'm very happy with the AAC 🙂"

What's your best experience so far with the AAC?

- "THE GAME! lol
More seriously, as I haven't been there long, there's not much for me to talk about unfortunately. So I'll just say that ftm people have been very kind and put up with my newbie questions (but that's true about all people I've talked to in the army for the moment actually) 😁 More specifically, the AAC people made me pretty much at ease right at the beginning (which is not so easy with me), without making me feel like an utter stranger. "

All right, thanks for your answers!
