Good Evening eAustralia.

On day 882 I declare my wish to return to the Australian Senate.

I'll be an ERA member running under the banner of the Australian Independents. I thank Bass Junkie who extended an invitation for ERA members to run under the PaPP banner, but thought I would continue the good-will set-up by Alex Australis in letting ERA members run in the AI.

What do I plan to do?

Hopefully not much this senate term. We hope it's a steady as she goes term.

However, most of you know my aspirations to run for PM in June, so I'll be taking the month to pick apart the brains of those who are in the senate the are passionate about the Economy, Foreign Affairs, Education or Military.

My main priority is to work within the ERA, then propose to senate, a new military structure.

I believe with the new Military Model about to start, we should break-up/realign our military groups now to look similar as what they will need to be in V2.

This way, our nation should be ready from the day V2 is introduced to make the most of our opportunities.

I also believe in the ERA idea of a Semi-Private Military. I think we could take the first steps, by hiring these private armies (like Crimson Order) to train our new soldiers and when they reach a certain level return them to the Government run Military.

EDEN and Indonesia

I am proud to stand before you as a proud EDEN supporter.

Long before Operation Twofold Bay, I was preaching the message we must join EDEN.

Before our membership, EDEN came and liberated Western Australia, after our neighbours Indonesia reneged on the contract to supply a list of businesses to purchases for us to get WA back.


Now I see people questioning our role with EDEN and an ex-Indonesian President Wonder Forward (now President of the Heart of Cerridwen Voeland Party) claiming we should be neutral.

In an IDEAL WORLD eAustralia could be neutral. If we didn't have a neighbour who was trying to bully us and take our regions from us, we could remain neutral.

HOWEVER, neutral means no protection. Look at South Africa. They held on to be neutral for so long, but were just a punching bag for Phoenix.

Australia got smart. We joined EDEN, helped in the liberation of South Africa and kicked out Brazil who tried to invade us.

People complain EDEN are not always there for us. the reality is they cannot. There's plenty of battles going on around eRepublik and there's only so much could in the bank. Both alliances have to 'pick their battles'.

I look at Indonesia and shake my head. Last time I was in senate I jumped up and down, made an awful noise and yes, broke the secrets rule. I called it - that Indonesia could NOT BE TRUSTED.

Sadly (and I hate to do the 'I told you so') I was right.

You've seen my arguments in the forums, and if you elect me to senate I promise to work as hard as I can to get Western Australia back... then plot some pay-back.
