Congress Report week 1 [EDITED+FIXED]

Citizens of eCanada, it is with great pleasure that I introduce to you the first of many weekly Congressional Updates. These articles will contain everything you need to know about recent happenings in the House of Open Door Congress. It will provide you with basic information regarding congressional issues and also with the link for the respective thread in the forum. You can then voice your opinion by posting a comment bellow or creating a topic in the forums if necessary.

Firstly, I would like to bring your attention to the following;

Secondly, I will just like to introduce you to the format of the articles to be poste😛
These articles will include two different headings with three sections in each. The first heading will be Tax Proposals: the proposed, the congress member who proposed and the link. In the Tax Proposal heading I will then divide the proposals into three sections, the approved, the rejected and the pending. The same will go for the second heading which will be Other Issues where things other than tax proposals will be briefly explained and basic information will be given.

This was proposed by congressman Zblewski. It simply stated that a change was to be made or rather, an addition, to the Department of Justice Act. Congressman Zblewski added the Employment Protocol to the act in order to make it up to date with our Department of Justice and the way it works.

This was proposed by President Chucky Norris on behalf of http://www.erepublik.com/en/citizen/profile/1381914 ">gary doer, a generous eCanadian who handed 240g to the government in order to buy a Q5 hospital for Manitoba. After considering the Pro’s and Con’s of the situation Congress came to a decision that it was a good idea and that moreover it was going to cost the eCanadian government nothing due to the generous donation.

This was originally a proposal by Nosyt to create an Organization In-Game that would belong to Congress and where a newspaper would be published with news about congress, but, as the discussion evolved congress came to a deal that it would be better for an article to be published on issues going on in Open Door Congress weekly or every two weeks to be written by the deputy speaker and to be published in a well known newspaper i.e. eCBC. (You are reading it right now 😃)

This discussion emerged after an argument between PimpDollaz and Coda got out of hand and it was suggested that non-congress members should not be allowed to post in Open Door Congress unless their “job” per say is involved or they have asked permission from the Speaker of Congress to post in a specific thread. A http://ecanada.ws/forums/viewtopic.php?f=66&t=6519&start=10 ">vote is now up where congress members are given three options as to who should be allowed to post in Open Door Congress.

This proposal by 1ronman was stating the current available information about why and how we would rent out one of our high titanium regions once V2 is released. However, since no one can be sure how much profit we will make and therefore cannot make a price the discussion raged on to a 17pg thread. Although a http://ecanada.ws/forums/viewtopic.php?f=66&t=6489 ">vote has been set to see how many congress members agreed to the idea and we have seen that the majority disagree congress has decided to keep the discussion going for new ideas until we know exactly what to expect.

This proposal, started by congressman supabeasty states an addition to the rules of decorum where a definition of why and how a president impeachment should be made. This discussion has only started recently so congress members have not yet made their opinions clear.

In this thread Congressman Tyler F Durden proposed that a fortress i.e. Deploying both Hospital and Defense system in the region. After a few days of discussion TFD backed out and decided to ask for the discussion to be archived.
