Hi Belgium !

I didn't publish yet a article since i came in Belgium after 9 months in the United Netherlands... I was very excited as it was the first time i had the Belgian flag on my profile. When I join eRepublik, in may 2009, Belgium was under the control of Netherlands.

I didn't understand the situation, and with some friends, we starting to publish a lot of articles claiming the independance of Belgium... It was really good days ! I remember that some Dutch players thought that we were bots or multis, because in 3 days we were around thirty people to join the game in the aim of defend Belgium... We all came from a very well-know football forum, Rscl.be, which was even spied by some dutchs.

All the articles in the press were written in Dutch, as there was almost no walloon players in eRepublik. I remember some articles were the Dutch were ask to bring back their caravan in Holland 😛

We joined an existing party, the Belgium Freedom Party of Sebastien Worms, and we elected our own party president and name the party Belgian Party. Bicky, a brugge boy, became the first leader of our party (results).

We understood that the current situation of eBelgium wasn't very good, with very low numbers of active players, no high raws regions, a weak economy, etc... We also learned a bit of eHistory, and how the UNL were created. It was just two months before we joined the game. The Imperial Troopers, a Spanish PTO group, succeed to PTO Belgium, and in order to avoid our country to became a puppet state, our President entering in negociation with the Dutch President to create a real Union. I also want to say that Dionysus, the UNL president when we joined the game, have been really amazing with us, offering us the possibility to claim independance when we wanted to have it, and explaining us a lot of things...

The Belgian Party entered in the top5 parties very quickly (in less than two weeks) and at the very first congressionnal elections we were in, we got 15 congressmembers elected on 18 BP candidates. 15 congressmembers on 40... There was a new party in the main political scene of the UNL, and UNL will have to listen us in the future... (results)

We entered in a government directly, and we were very enthusiast to make changes in UNL. It was my first Ministry term (Ministry of Health & Information). But things didn't happened as we wanted. It was too slow and we decided that we would be more useful with being in the opposition : we resigned officialy of the UNL government. We didn't wanted to be managed by the inside power. We feeled that the merge processus wasn't finished, and we wanted to fight for the Belgian's right in the more efficient way...

There was still remarks when we spoke in French, when in the same time there was no remark for the same situation in Dutch... We asked to have an Belgian moderator on our forum. There was also a big problem : UNL was (is) a producer of Q5 hospitals, and since we joined the game, they sold two hospitals for making gold, and no one was build in the Belgian regions. It wasn't acceptable for us : we thought that we had the right to live on our own land : in Belgium... It wasn't acceptable that we had to move in Northern Netherlands to be able to use an hospital.

The Belgian Party became a real target in the UNL politics, and we received a lot of critics. One of the most famous answers to these critics was this famous paragraph of BP history : "You have not understand anything ! It's not a question of votes ! BP show by resigning of the government that it don't want the power for the power ! It's not a question of seats, of gold, of ministers, it's a question of values, ideas, programs ! Someone said that BP votes were like sheepvoting... In BP, we don't care about our party president, it can be bicky it can be an other, for the congressmen, the same thing ! We care about politics ! We care about Belgians citizens in a eUNL country where we are not totaly integrated !"

In June, I became Party President of the Belgian Party. It wasn't easy to be PP after the amazing work of Bicky, but the Belgian Party was more than an addition of some people, it was a real belgian movement, and it wasn't stopped... (results)

While we were making our congressional campagn for June elections, and that the main critics toward the Belgian Party was that it was a nationalist party, our country have been suffering a resistance war, and the Belgian Party had the chance to prove his attachment to the UNL. We published an article to invite all Belgians to defend Wallonia... This resistance war was started by American soldiers, and BP have declared that he didn't accept that others countries intefere in our national policies (battle).

In June congressional elections, we succeed to kept 12 seats on 40, and to stay the biggest party in Congress. The most popular congressmember was also a BP member, Tiboo, who became congressmembers several times in Wallonia. I was named formateur and i suceed to make a government with the Belgian Party, the Libertarian Social Democrats, and the new born party, the Green Liberal Democrats. We choose to go to power with a new party, like we still were, to bring a new fresh air in the United Netherlands, and to bring real changes... It was the first time since the creation of Iron & Wine and of eNetherlands that they were sent back in opposition... and opposition will become the place of the experienced party" for several months...I led this government as Prime Minister, only two months after i joined this game. Nothing was able to stop the Belgian Party and our values.

10 days later, it was already the country presidence elections and the Belgian Party decide to have his own candidate for the first time ! I have been chose to represent the Belgian Party, and i had to face 4 others candidates in these elections, but i have been elected, and for the first time, the United Netherlands had a Belgian President ! It was now time to act, and fast... My first presidential action was to propose a new welcome citizen message, in English... But what we were all waiting for was to build an hospital in Brussels. It have been proposed immediately and approved by the UNL Congress (law). The UNL government also provided Moving Tickets for all Belgians citizens who wanted to go back on their land. This first presidential term was also the occasion for me to become a PEACE GC Representative. I met a lot of people, some very experienced, and i learn to know the true friends of the United Netherlands.

We started to work for having a true real Union. As there wasn't french players in UNL, french language wasn't recognize. The BP have succeed to make French an official language of UNL, and to make that all articles of government will have to be write in English. English also became the official language of our forum, enetherlands.nl, which became later ebelgium.enetherlands.nl...

After this busy month, very promising for the future of the United Netherlands, with a lot of improvements for the country and for the Belgians' rights, it was already time to elect a new congress... The results were one more time amazing for our party : while I&W got only 6 seats, LSD 13 seats, we won 14 seats. As President, I asked the new Party President of the Belgian Party, Vanouze, to form the new government.

During this month, i've launched the project of the UNL ebabyboom website, a copy of the french website, traducted and adapted in 3 languages for the UNL (babyboom website). As France was working on a babyboom on www.jeuxvideos.com, i wanted to use this opportunity for our country. I've decided to run a second time at the presidential elections, in order to finish the work i have started the month before. This time, if i was still running against

the I&W Frerk, i get the support of the LSD and of the GLD. It was a great sign of acknowledge of the Belgian Party's work. I won these elections with 63% of the votes (results).

And the 12 August, the UNL have lived his first babyboom... We were 1100 citizens and we welcomed more than 600 citizens in one day in our country ! And 20% of them registered by our ebabyboom website, which bring 5 gold for each of them to our country. If it was really a big success for our country, this babyboom also bring a lot of nervosity in our country : the problem was than almost the entire of the new players were Walloon and spoke French as they discovered the game thanks to the article on www.jeuxvideos.com, the french video game website. The Belgian Party have been accused to trying to PTO Netherlands by making a french speaking babyboom. Eastern Netherlands had 105 citizens, Southern Netherlands 116, Flanders 145, Western Netherlands 232, Northen Netherlands 312, Brussels 560 and Wallonia 820 ! (photo).

With this babyboom, Wallonia had more than 800 players, and the Belgian Party immediately proposed with the LSD to build a new hospital, in Wallonia, in order to manage as well as we can this babyboom and to offer a great % of survive to this new players. Belgium regions had now 2 Q5 hospitals ! That was more than the number of Q5 hospital in France for example... (law)

The congressional elections were really epic : the Belgian Party which had a record of 15 seats on 40 succeed to win 17 seats on the 40, with 7 members in the top 10 most popular congressmembers, included the top 4 ! It was the month where Baab become too much attractive for voters... 451 eUNL citizens have voted in these elections, it was 239 more than in July, and some babyboomers already succeed to get elected... (results)

On this success wave, the Belgian Party have asked me to run for a third time in a row to the Presidence. It was a good and a bad memory... A good one, because i get elected with 228 votes and 53% of the votes with the only support of my party, against the player ranked number one in UNL, Kixtart, and who was also supported by the two others biggest parties. Alone, against all, the Belgian Party manage to keep the confidence of the UNL citizens, due to the work it have accomplished since his born few months before. A bad memory, because i had a period of inactivity due to some real life problems and i wasn't able to help our country as much as i wanted, and this wasn't understood by some congressmembers, who started to impeach me, without success.

In September congressional elections, as usual, the Belgian Party remains the first party of the UNL, with 14 congressmembers elected and the double of votes received than the 2nd party. I asked Murena, the new Belgian Party President, who really lead our party very well, to set up a government. Olv007 became Prime Minister of the United Netherlands. He didnt know that he will be Prime Minister for three months at this time... Our party also became a new member of the +300members parties association this month, with 330 members ! (results)

During all these elections, the Belgian Party have always had a same statement : he will never make negotiations with the GVD, a far-right party, anti-unionist and extremist. With the LSD, a "cordon sanitaire" was set up. I also want here to name Cocoamok, who have been a great leader of the Libertarian Social Democrats, and who have always supported the right of the Belgians. She tryied to build together with us a more equal Union, a Union with more solidarity...

About the Belgian's rights, the Belgian Party have never stopped his work, and during the months of september, october and november, the main priority was to work on a new Constitution, as the current one was still the Netherlands Constitution. For the Belgian Party, this Constitution became void the day where our countries decided to merge. Perry Rhodan have made a great work on this Constitution, and the majority LSD/BP decide to present it to the Congress, which have decided to reject it. It needed to have a high % of yes to be agreed, and to be voted twice, by two differents congress. The opposition decided to block us and today, this Constitution haven't been approved yet. A special division of the army have also been set up, for the new walloon players, to help them to rank faster and to fight more often with weapons. It was a very good plan to improve the military power of each community of our Union.

After 90 days of Presidence, I decided to not run a fouth time, and the Belgian Party decided to support the LSD candidate, who have been elected.
The month later, i was again a candidate for the presidential elections, but for the first time i had to learn what the word "defeat" means. For me and the Belgian Party, it was an unknown word. Since we joined the game, we knew only big success, and big improvements for the Belgians. I lost, but for some personnal reason, the winner President decided to resign after a few days, and i was in charge of the United Netherlands for an other period.

It was the start of a very hard period for the UNL, and more specificly for the Belgian community. As you might remember, the United Netherlands have been the target of a military operation leaded by The Group, from Romania, and by the Seal 6, from the United States of America. Flanders have been conquered by the Resistance Force in the war versus Netherlands, and the Belgium flag was back on the world map of eRepublik countries. Some days later, two others Resistance Wars have been launched in United Netherlands, in order to conquer Wallonia and Brussels, and to succeed to offer Belgium it's two last original regions. Wallonia have been secured by our country, the region of Brussels was conquered by the Resistance force and Belgium was now composed of two regions, Flanders and Brussels. The RW's were launched in the United Netherlands in order to liberate the Belgian from their oppressor, the Netherlands... The Group was in Belgium "to undo a wrong that was UNL, and we intend to stay at it. We are here to establish eBelgium as a nation once again, and needless to say that can only be achieved through proper leadership". The first declaration of the romanian president of Belgium was quite different : "Make no mistake, I am here to represent the interests of myself, TheGroup and EDEN in general"... For a first time, RW's were launched in Belgium without the agreement of the Belgian community living in the Belgian regions...

With only one belgian region, the UNL were still alive, and the Belgian Party too... In the november congressional elections, we secured 11 seats and be part of the government again. While the Belgian Party politic council thought that it will maybe be hard to elect his own candidate as President for a new time, the contrary happens. I was still the Belgian Party candidate, and i won this election with 78% of the votes... In fact, the others party presidents wasn't very clever on this one, as they didn't read the new rules about presidential elections which made the 2nd of each month as last day to present or support a candidate. During this new presidential term, the main preocupation was to free Belgium for the Group's oppression. They were stealing our country, with donations to private organisations and making MPP with the USA and Romania to prevent us to attack them. December was also the month were we had to took a strong decision : to leave from PEACE GC... It wasn't easy, as we were a founder country and that we lived really great times and epic battles with this alliance. It was time to change, to work on a new alliance, based on new factors, and being more efficient. Few days later, PHOENIX was born. It was a very good memory for me, as i've been one of the founder's president of this alliance, having working for several days, weeks, on it structure. (article)

Few days before Christmas, the United Kingdom have attacked Flanders, and with our support, have won the battle. Directly after, Brussels was attacked. This operation was a real success to get rid off the Group... On the political scene, it haven't change a lot for the Belgian Party : it was still hard to make some changes. The problem was the question of an hypothecal union with the United Kingdom. Our congress and our population was very divided, and wasn't able to took a decision. But we were blocked : some parties didn't want to take back our regions from UK since the question of merging was still alive. They requested the organisation of a referendum, who took days to be set up.

And it was already december congressional elections... With a UNL in the same configuration than the last month, with only Wallonia as Belgian region in the Union, the Belgian Party succeed to get 10 congressmembers elected, so 25% of the Congress. But if the Belgian Party received the most votes of all parties, it didn't impeach the others parties to form a coalition to govern the United Netherlands. Our party was sent back in opposition... In December, the Belgian Party also became the first party of the UNL to set up a api website to take care of his members, in Wallonia, but mainly in the regions which was still outside the Union (The Belgian Party). This website have helped the BP a lot to prevent bad consequences of "occupation", like it suffered a lot during the Group occupation.

And... January ! I was choose again by my party to be their candidate at the Presidential elections... It was a very close election, with DanielB1989 as main opponent. I finally won it, and became President of the United Netherlands for a 6th time (5th elected, 1 time after an impeachment) (results). During this month, i had to take the decision i'm the most proud of it... We decided to became involved in the futur WWIV to help our neighbour, friend and ally, Germany, which was being invaded by Poland. We declared war on Poland and attack them from Western Netherlands. This battle didn't need to be win, it just had to offer the opportunity of blocking Poland and let Germany have the initiative back. Unfortunately, Phoenix was unable to secure a win in Germany's battle, and Poland have been able to attack Wallonia, a region without MPP protection (as non original region). We lost this battle and Wallonia became Polish... But not for a long time, as Wallonia have been swapped with Spain.

The Belgian Party was still alive, but with only 60 members in the UNL, for 330 some months before. The future wasn't bright but we decided to face it.
Few days before january congressional elections, EDEN have started RW in Brussels and in Flanders, as being part of a plan during this WWIV. For a new time, RW's have been launched without the agreement of the Belgian community living in the belgian regions. With the risk of having a new "Group" managing Belgium, the Belgian Party decided to send all his members, all his voters in Belgium and to make a call to all his old members, who were now in Belgian regions since few times, to vote for the party led by Olv007, the old Belgian Party Prime Minister, Belgium for Belgians. The United Netherlands also call the help of his friends to save Belgium and a lot of people came in Belgium to vote on the 25th... 1646 exactly, with more than 800 voices for the BfB but only 9 seats on 20. In the same time, in the UNL, the BP got elected 5 congressmembers, able to be the voice of the Belgians in the UNL Congress.

Few days after this election, we noticed that a lot of foreigners and EDEN members have planned to occupy our country for good, and to break the real and voluntary union of the United Netherlands. They claimed they wanted a neutral Belgium, that they didn't want Belgium to be a Dutch puppet, to be back in slavery...

I felt like called by my destiny, and i choose to ask the UNL Congress to impeach me from the UNL Presidence, to let me able to join my countrymen, in Brussels, and to participate to the construction of a new Belgium, but also to prevent all EDEN influence in our country.

I wasn't sure that an independent Belgium, without an Union, was a good choice for our country. For me, a lot of questions have to be answered before : about economy, about military, about mpp, about training wars, about high raws regions, about rl active belgians, about hospitals, about monetary market, etc... But i choose to trust Olv007. He present me a good plan, a plan who was also accepted by the others PTO partyes which told they wanted to help Belgium.

The Belgium Congress is composed of Macedonians, Croats, Polish, Americans, and Belgians... We choose to impeach the last Romanian belgian president and to let Olv007 become our new President. Olv007 have working on his goverments, but this one wasn't like by some congress members, including the Director of the CIA, because they were too much Belgians in it...

Olv007 have said to shadowukcs who was complaining about me being in the future Belgian government : "Moreover he is a Belgian who is truly committed to his country. Of course he is upset by the situation and I'm sure he would like us to be Phoenix. But as told before, and to him, not as long as I will be Country President. He understand and accept it." Shadowukcs answered : "And how can someone be truly committed to the country [...]?" I think he lost a lot of credibility being blind in front of the reality of our Belgium.

Does Belgians have been accused to PTO ... Belgium ?

What was our surprise when we saw today that Shadowukcs was running in the Presidential Elections, as the candidate of the US PTO party. Does he want to rule Belgium for us, as he know better than everyone here and than the government choose by Olv007 what is good for Belgium and what is bad for it ?

EDEN is all around in Belgium, and they are a threat to the neutrality wanted for Belgium.
With no supporting Olv007, Shadowukcs and USA are trying to prevent Belgians to manage their country : is that a PTO ?

I call everyone, every belgian, every friend of Belgium, every friend of the UNL, every friend to me, to vote for Olv007 (his candidacy article)...

Don't let some guys destroy the whole work of a entire Belgian community since months !

The Belgian Party is still working for the Belgians' rights, and don't understand who are these people in Belgium who want to manage it...
Where was Shadowukcs during the last 9 months, were Belgians have difficulties in the UNL ? Where was Shadowukcs when his beloved country was PTO by his romanian friends ?

The construction of Belgium didn't start last month, but 9 months ago.
The Belgian Party is a society builder, a country builder, and have fought all his live for the right of Belgians !
And so I did...
