Why I'm Proud to be eAustralian

Day 763, 15:21 Published in Australia Australia by hillbilly jim

Over the past few weeks, I have grown tired of the much publicized bickering and squabbling amongst many of our enations leadership. These actions have left me bewildered, and as many of our citizens have changed residences and/or quit the game recently, it would appear that sentiment is shared by many other citizens. And let us not forget that we are not only losing the "two-clickers", but also a few of our most active and experienced players have said good bye to eAustralia.

On the bright side, our enation has been able to stand our ground against eBrazil several times in Queensland and South Australia, and at the present are even going on the offensive to take back the two territories that were initially lost during this war. The fact that we are able stand up to eBrazil, despite all of the inner turmoil, shows me that all is not lost, and there is plenty of reason to remain optimistic that eAustralia will come out of this as a much stronger, and more respected enation. We are eAustralian, and united, we will PREVAIL!

To those of you who have left - I understand your reasons, and I wish you luck with whatever path you choose to take. Should you decide to return, we will be here for you.

To those of you who may be considering leaving or quitting - I ask that you please look past the petty behavior. Although the media and forums are dominated by the bickering between a few "leaders", this is not at all a fair representation of what this enation is all about. I can attest that this country is all about friendship, helping out our fellow ecitizens, and remaining strong even the face of adversity.

In closing, I would ask each you to remember this is a democracy. Each of you - from Cottus Arci (for those of you who might not know, he is our highest ranked citizen) to those of you who may have just become citizens within the past week or two - have an equal vote during our upcoming elections. If you are at all unhappy with your government, it is up to EACH OF YOU to make a change!!

I am hillbilly jim - proud to be eAustralian, and proud member of the Australian New Ideas party.
