Vote Infin for Senate - Queensland
infin
I have run twice for Senate unsuccesfully and have been keenly participating in the policy discussion. After our recent invasion by Brazil and the National Bank theft I have been sorely disappointed by the behaviour of some of our elected representatives. The key to a strong democracy is transparency and rule of law. Furthermore eAustralia expects its elected representatives to conduct themselves in a professional statesmanlike manner, and to respect others, at all times.
Senate should be a place for people who take politics seriously and want to work to improve the lives of our citizens, not pursue personal vendettas and seek out personal gain. I am an AAR enlisted soldier but don't seek the fame and fortune of the military - I fight to serve our country, and am a businessman working to bring affordable iron into our country for local weapons manufacturers.
I joined the ANP because I believe in libertarian ideals: low taxes, low government, letting the individual choose what to do with their money - not the government. I believe Australians want a hand up, not a handout. They want to be able to learn the game mechanics so they can make their own way in life instead of relying on charity all the time.
I will work hard to implement the following policy:
- regaining WA and ensuring a defence system is implemented in WA to protect this valuable region and its business people from future attack - we have seen the havoc this wreaks on our economy and jobs when we lose this high resource state;
- lower income taxes where it can be afforded - keeping a low tax environment encourages business and citizens to stay living in Australia;
- reducing import tax for sectors where there is a low supply of goods for the market and increasing the VAT gradually so that Australia has access to a plentiful suply of goods especially in times of war, and increasing competition in our domestic market so that workers are not ripped off for basic goods - read my detailed discussion paper on import tax and VAT.
- better information by our Ministry of Information, keeping our public informed of decisions taken by government, especially those taken during times of war;
- keeping our Cabinet accountable to the Senate, and minimising executive decisions taken without Senate approval through proper checks and balances;
- removing the Non-Elected Senators Act - this legislation is undemocratic; having special unelected people in the job is not what eRep is about, everyone should be equal in a democracy;
- encouraging more open discussion of policy by seeking feedback on policy from all citizens in public forums, not in private Senate forums;
- professionalising our military by encouraging competitive bidding for damage programs on OFFENSIVE campaigns - read my detailed discussion paper on how this could work;
- reducing government expenditure to essential programs and minimising any budget deficits or money printing - this helps keep our currency strong and means workers' purchasing power is not weakened by an unstable currency;
- examining our government's involvement in the private market, selling off government companies where a free open market is able to supply us with essential goods in a secure manner;
- experimenting with a "traineeship" incentive to businesses providing support to businesses on taking on a 0 skill employee and rewarding the employer upon getting the employee to skill 1 - this is extremely important for our economy and for getting more committed eRep citizens - see my detailed discussion paper on the issue;
- strong border security and military services, via participation in strategic alliances with key defensive countries;
I am a patriotic freedom loving eAustralian who wants to serve in our Senate as a serious endeavour and be your voice. I won't hold personal vendettas against my political opponents and I will work construcively to implement good policy for our country. Vote ANP for a unified party which will take our Senate seriously and work hard to improve our country and enable eAustralians to enjoy the game.

sounds good, voted.
I like your traineeship idea, I have been thinking of the same thing but have not had the time to sit down and write it up as a proposal.
