Seven signs of Communism
Doctor John Smith
Seven signs of Communism
1. There is one political party wich has influence on everything within the state. Further reffered to as ‘the Communist Party’. From the beginning the party will have their focus inward. Creating a state within a state. Others shall only be taken serious after accepting membership of the party.
2. Centralization of credit in the banks of the state, by means of a national bank with state capital and an exclusive monopoly. The Communist Party has control over any loan that could be given to its own companies.
3. Centralization of the means of communication and transport in the hands of the state. The biggest newspaper of your country shall be run by a member of the Communist Party. Those readers will surprisingly enough never read any other newspaper. Wich keeps the viewrate of the newspaper at its strangely high position, leaving other newspapers far behind. The producer of moving tickets is run by a member of the Communist Party.
4. Extension of factories and instruments of production owned by the state; The Communist party has companies in every branch that will grow faster then any other non-party-members company. This is made possible by tapping into the states capital and by keeping the salary of the employees very low.
5. The newspapers owned by members of the Communist Party will write solely positive news about their party and how well their employees are to be treated. The employees themselves are radiosilent. Newspapers who criticize the Communist Party will be made very clear that they made a huge mistake.
6. The Communist Party shall deny every aspect of being communists. Every political move toward communism shall be explained as ‘a step for a better future for us all’ They will say they are center-left or center-right.
7. Once the communist party has presidentship its companies will flourish. Other companies diminish. The communist party will not care for the none-partymembers existence let alone help them financialy.

Not to bust your bubble, you make several valid points, but many countries have less than 100 citizens. It would surprising in those less populatred countires if some of the points were happening without the conclusions being true.
Nazi germany had many similar points, but they were hardly Communists. Maybe totalitarian would be a better description.
Het plaatje is wel grappig 🙂
So let me get this straight -- basically your point is that if a state has only one party then it is a Communist state. I don't buy it -- at least not in erepublik. Fact is, the smaller states just might not feel it is practical to have 2 parties let alone 5 or 6. Gold is extremely rare, and far better spent on developing industry instead of increasing parties, especially since most parties are going to have the same agenda anyway -- lower taxes on domestic goods, raise taxes on imports. There is just not enough variety in the game for the parties to really differentiate themselves, so why waste valuable funds on multiple parties?
COMMUNISM!
IT'S A PARTY!
NO U
Long live communism!!1
Errmm, communism is only flawed due to human nature. In this game there is no real use for personal profit, so perhaps communism is the ideal solution for ERepublik.
There is nothing wrong with communism, unless you don't mind having your conscience stained with the blood of the world's less fortunate.
I solemnly agree with Inquitus. Perhaps the idea of democracy can be overlooked, if global welfare is to be achieved?
Not to destroy your white and black world but this is just plain wrong. I have never seen a communistic state not claiming to be communistic. Actually, i have seen quite a lot of Fascist/Totalitarian claming to be communistic. But when you go far enough to the left or right you end up like a police state. Just look at the Sovjet, they totally lost it and became a fascist state claiming to be commies
No one is taking to either extreme here, at least I am not. I'm merely preventing what is fundamentally a beaitiful idea from being torn apart by prejudices based on a most unfortunate previous history. Claiming to be a communist doesn't make you one. If one studies both Marx own definition of communism and what happened in Soviet Russia, it shall be found obvious that the similarities are few. It is the winners and survivors who write the history. As such, the western world, more or less under influence of the USA, couldn't possibly allow an idea that places their whole economical system at stake to flourish.
At least there is someone here that looks at the idea, and not only the outcome of some angry dude.
Typical anti-comunist american thinking 🙁 bunch of lies
Personaly i live and UE and i am sympathetic with true Marxism
0_0 eUSA is communism
And what exactly would be wrong with this, besides points 1, 3 and 5?
@Will: eUSA is not communist
Damn! According to point 6, now we ARE communist. Fell right into that...
You forgot #8 Reagan: Babies are being punched in the face, kittens are being punted, and a million bajillion people drop dead.
Your lack of knowledge and general ignorance is staggering. Clearly you cannot comprehend the idea of the \"Dictatorship of the Proletariat\" and its implementation.
Remember kids: Only listen to the \"signs of Communism\" to somebody who has no clear idea what Marxism is, and the only source they have is bias western literature from Robert Conquest. xD
KFB said, \"There is nothing wrong with communism, unless you don\'t mind having your conscience stained with the blood of the world\'s less fortunate.\"
Unbelievable. Take Cuba for example, which is itself not communist, but it\'s certainly more inspired by socialism than capitalism. Thanks to them the poorest countries in the world are getting help reducing infant mortality rates and providing much-needed medical care. Cuba literally has tens of thousands of doctors around the world helping people.
Then look at the world\'s capitalist superpower, the US. We maim and kill anyone who disagrees with us. Our international financial funds force nations into deeper debt while coercing them to disassemble their social programs. Our corporations steal natural resources (like drinking water - yay Coca-Cola!) and flood foreign markets to force locals out of business. The United States is a capitalist country and the single most belligerent country on the planet - but you\'re going to say the communists are the ones with all the blood on their hands. Look at the facts.
