The Pasta Times

I hit FM today. Finally. It took a lot of time, a lot of money, and a lot of help. I never would have gotten here without my Theocratic brothers (and sisters).

But does it even matter anymore? I never cared about making a lot of gold in erep. I saved up what I had, and spent it on war. I had a few companies that I would run to give me a little extra money to buy weapons and tickets to fight, but I sold them to fight. My whole savings, never very much, were spent in one battle or another. And I never really wanted to buy gold

I would rather fight than make money, I'm a Theocrat. But will it matter soon? I accepted that I would never be the best tank in the world. But I wanted to be strong. And I am now. I'm an 18.51 Str FM today. Not someone who is going to get tons of gold to tank, but I can hold my own, and I can help theocracy just like theocracy has helped me.

Well, I thought so anyway. You could always blow enough gold to get to FM quick, like Parter. But you still had to come day after day, to train. I have.

But now it doesn't matter, anyone with a couple of hundred Euros can join, and in a few months be better than I am.

And all the older players, with more money than I have, that is any at all, we'll keep getting farther ahead.

Do I still have a place here? Well, I'm not going to quit, not now anyway. But I had always thought I was going to be much happier with my place in the world when I got to FM....

The admins took down the article, so maybe in a week, this will all be just a bad memory. I can only hope so.
