[WTP] Big Time

Howdy folks,
The best part about meeting goals is the satisfaction from the fact that we can meet them. We realize that we aren’t inferior, defective, or lack the ability to do the things we most want.
This month has been a huge success for our party: we gained 27.3% in our congressional representation despite the nation losing seven congress seats due to territory loss, voter turnout increased 21.3% month-over-month, and the candidate our party endorsed is our current president (By the way, congratulations Mr. Stevens!).
So, you might think we’ve petered out? No more growth left? Not particularly. In our last congressional election, only 62.7% of our party showed up to the ballot box. Despite our overwhelming successes in getting high-quality, engaged, and interesting individuals into Congress, we have fallen short because we could have gotten more of our party members into congress, which would have led to a more interesting congressional term and a potential WTP Speaker of the House.
Our candidate for Speaker of the House, Blande, performed admirably in the Speaker elections. Our candidate may have lost, but Cromstar is an extremely qualified and our nation is better either way. We are extremely privileged to have so many qualified individuals to moderate our nation’s congress.
So, I’ve told you what I think we’ve done right and wrong – that is cool. But what are my goals for the future?
I’ll be blunt and honest:
1. Attempt to increase voter turnout to the 80% level – this should increase our representatives in congress.
2. Work with other political parties to ensure that qualified individuals find their way into Congress. I’m not particularly thrilled with the trolling and petty name calling that had occurred in previous terms.
3. Promoting Whalefare more heavily and ensuring that party members are using this valuable resource. It is being offered for a reason!
4. Increase party size by 5% and increase interaction among members. At the time of writing, we have 145 members. That means that there are 10,440 relationships that could be strengthened. I intend on doing this via incentives for attending party events which I will disclose in the future.
Now that you know a little bit about me and my goals, I would be glad to answer questions and address concerns
Sincerely,
Ray

Always happy to answer questions.
Math is hard.
You can tell an accountant wrote this, can't you?
Actually, we were having an IRC discussion about there being a single relationship between two people as opposed to two (one from each person, individually).
Before his edit, he suggested there were 20,880 relationships that could be furthered. At first, I thought he was doing a permutation calculation (where order matters(it doesn't)), as it's a combination, which would give 10,440 relationships.
I thought he was doing math wrong, using permutations instead of combinations. Turns out, he just thinks there are two one-way relationships between people and not one two-way relationship.
Dwarfs should go back to not mathing. It's for the best.
I mathed to hard doing some maths earlier.
