The War Report...it's about War
Evening Murrica,
As usual, nothing much to report on for the homefront. On the alliance front though, there's been plenty a brewin'
Firstly, Lithuania has decided to leave CoT. Naturally, we wish Lithuania good luck in her future endeavours. Lithuania was close to TWO mainly, so we're sure they'll find what they're looking for in their new home. For some more information on the subject, feel free to read the Official CoT Press Release
On the subject of leaving alliances, Colombia has been removed from ACT. Spain did not approve Colombia into ACT, so the whole candidacy and membership seem to have been a farce. It's quite interesting how TWO admits this all after the Mex-Colo truce breaks down, but alas, it's TWO. Did we expect anything less ?
Also, on behalf of the administration, I'd like to give a massive shout-out to US-AIM. Using joint coordination with USAF forces and allied friendlies, AIM assisted in one of the best attacks on Servia I've ever seen.
In total, we freed 7 regions, cut off 1 resource, and enabled eAlbania to escape from the "Balkan Cage."
Not bad for a Thursday afternoon.
American troops being properly rallied
This was a perfect example of what a United eAmerica can do when it puts its mind to it. No need to change sides, buzz kill what fun we have or hurt anyone's strategy at all. All that's needed is a little communication, some trust and plenty o' Serv-blasting.
Good job everyone o7
How to Make Money Training
This article is a repost from Aramec's paper
Training profitably is an essential part of this game, and because of this the WHPR is proud to repost Aramec's educational article on the subject. Go check out the original here!
So, I set about finishing my article on what training regimens produce the most amount of gold. After countless calculations, graphs, and other such devices, I felt confidant that I had finally produced the definitive work on gold ratios and training regimens. I thought that, but cue a Fun Fact...
Fun Fact: It already exists.
¿Cómo se dice "womp womp"?
So, after a few modifications, double checkings, and generally just going "ah man I wish I would have known about this sooner so I didn't spend all the time doing it by myself," I now present the extremely cut down and probably last financially inclined article I will ever write. After an extensive search, I have included only the combinations which will turn a profit. You're welcome. Hopefully. I don't know. I'm really tired still. I blame drugs.
Click here to see full size
The top five money earning training combinations is as follows, in order of most to least:
1. Q4 Training Ground & Q4 Climbing Center with daily bonus
2. Q4 Training Ground Only with daily bonus
3. Q4 Training Ground & Q4 Climbing Center without daily bonus
4. Q4 Training Ground Only without daily bonus
5. Q4 Training Ground & Q2 Climbing Center with daily bonus, Q4 Training Ground & Q3 Climbing Center with daily bonus, Q4 Training Ground & Q4 Climbing Center with daily bonus
So, moral? I suppose. Here's a couple things I learned in the processing of all this information.
Firstly, the only way to make money training with contracts, as I've been informed by Edelmann is as follows: "Training with all facilities on Q4 also makes a small profit when using the contract (in a smart way = for 31 x training). You spend a total of 61.897 gold in this period (53g contract + 31*0.287g training), but you earn more gold with medals. Training 31 times will give you 31*91.8 strength (average) = 2845.8 strength, equal to 11.3832 SS medals or 56.916 gold. Add the average of 5.166666g you'll get for the HW medal in 31 days --> 62.0826666 gold.
Expenses of 61.897 gold
Income of 62.082666 gold
Profit of 0.1856666 gold in 31 days."
Thank you to Edelmann for that correction!
Secondly, it is so obviously worth it to rank up your Training Ground that there should be no excuse for you to not to. I'm going to go ahead and thank Iamnameless for giving me this advice early on in my career. Quality dude.
Thirdly, anything outside of the Training Grounds and the Climbing Center doesn't make you money. So don't do it.
And finally, only ever upgrade when there's a sale. The amount of gold you save is beyond worth it.
Seriously, if you skimmed that, go up and read it again
Stuff You Should Know
Secretary of Media Paul Proteus
Trippy right?
Good evening America, just going to wrap up the WHPR with a few general announcements of various going ons. Most parties are likely in the middle of a primary system to decide who to run on the 15th for Party President. So again America, be prepared to join #voting on election day, and continue to protect America from her enemies in the AFA.
Also, echoing last issue, the DoI is running a pretty cool fundraiser involving Kody's avatar, go look into that, and in the future look into more fun events from your friendly neighborhood interior departments. That's about it for today~
Until next time,
E Pluribus Unum eUSA~

Aquitaine back in Serbia.
who writes for good job??
fail war report
What about the unexplained delay in NE'ing France to deny Serbia rubber in Aquitaine? That's kind of a huge oversight. Especially when you consider that eUSA had an existing border with France via Brittany BEFORE Aquitaine was even RW'd back.
There is no real excuse for how poorly that manoeuvre was executed (other than forum role playing silliness).
Perhaps anticipating outcomes and then formulating appropriate strategies is too difficult to do when you have to worry about following some made-up protocol to even propose a NE. That, and coordinating which role play e-restaurant you're going to get to cater the meeting for the NE proposal could be pretty hectic.
I got a mention in the WHPR, yay me \o/
Fail war report is fail war report
1.Late NE law (with already existing border before the RW)
2.USA should start doing something useful for COT (Chile lost two RW in a row and has hard time in the direct battle, but hey Albania is out of the Balkan cage)
some spin, some Candor. Voted.
>Thirdly, anything outside of the Training Grounds and the Climbing Center doesn't make you money. So don't do it.
I managed to get my 1.79g tg up to Q4, and use it once per medal. Saves me time, possibly nets more money in the long run, but I'm not going to do the math for it.
