The Sunday Tabloid
Ilene Dover

Who likes weekends? We certainly do at the media office. That said, we’re all here beavering away on a Sunday afternoon for your reading pleasures… Today we present the Sunday Tabloid section, for your reading pleasure.

The puzzle section

Let’s try something fairly easy to start with. Y’all know how to play Sudoko right?

First one to post the correct solution wins a prize! If nobody claims it, I’ll post a link to the solution and you can all lift your game next week.

The Funnies

Being government stooges we have to be non-controversial. In public at least. I’m so very very sorry for this. Send me to the punitentiary...

Page 3…

I admit to being very hesitant here. Still, a tabloid journalist must fearlessly go where where nobody else dares. Right?

One for the ladies
And one for the gents

Arm America
Ilene Dover

Do you like guns?

Of course you do, or you wouldn’t be reading this far. Do you want guns for free?

Well, we can help with that. All you need to is use the AA. We all sit around in circles. When it’s your turn, stand up and say...

Joey runs up and whispers in Ilene’s ear

*ahem*

As I was saying, you need to join Arm America.

Through this program, up to 100 Q7 weapons are given out per soldier per day for fighting in our priority battles.

Which battles are those? Subscribe to the Department of Defence’s newspaper. They put a new article out each day, with that day’s priorities (vote it up while you’re there, so the poor chaps in DoD don’t get a complex about their unpopular articles).

You’ll need to make your damage in advance of receiving any supplies. Once you’ve hit take a screenshot of what you’ve achieved on the battle stats. Something like this:

Go to the supply form and do your thing.

Some shiny guns will be mailed to a depot near you as soon as they can be stripped and cleaned.

Pacifica Is Growing
Joey3790

Our family is getting bigger. Recently Sweden and then Greece were added to Pacifica. Now we welcome Hungary and Poland to the alliance. Now, I know what you’re thinking. What are the pro’s and con’s of all this? Well, first the good news – the pro’s. These new additions greatly increase our stats, including damage on the battlefield. For more information on Pacifica’s stats, click: Show me the numbers! We now have 2 powerful allies that give us better control of Central Europe. More members should give us more stability and security, not only within Pacifica but also internationally between alliances.

So, what are the con’s? Honestly, I don’t know. I like to see myself as an optimistic person, so I really see nothing bad with any additions to the alliance. If fact, I’d like to see more nations added to Pacifica! (Now you see why I’m just a writer and not in the Foreign Affairs Department.) The only thing I could possibly see would be having too many influences each vying for control. But I don’t think anything like that would ever happen. (Again, just a know-nothing writer here. What do I know?) In my opinion, the pro’s outweigh the con’s here.

Welcome to Pacifica Hungary and Poland! Welcome to our family! The eUSA wishes you the best as together we forge the future.

The Schu Challenge #3
James Schubert

The fun continues weekly of “The Schu Challenge” again this month.

How it works: I pose one quiz question per week in the WHPR, and the first eUS citizen that answers correctly in comments section will win a prize. Each week there will be a different prize. Can’t tell you much beyond that but it is expected the final weekly Schu question of Melissa Rose’s CP term will be a juicy prize.

Schu Challenge Question #3
Prize: $ 500 USD

Ulysses Grant, Rutherford Hayes and James Garfield were three consecutive Republican presidents, all of whom were bearded Union Army generals, and all of whom were from which state?

A. New York
B. California
C. Ohio
D. Pennsylvania

Thanks for reading!
