Today’s WHPR report is new, improved, and fresh. Before explaining this week’s current events and happenings, the Trekker Administration is pleased to announce the appointment of Tom Cauchon as the new Secretary of Media. Tyler Bubblar will serve as the Deputy Secretary of Media. In addition, Jude Connors and several other contributing writers will assist our new team. More on this later.

As this new team transitions into the Press Room, we would like to congratulate and thank Smee was here for his dedication and service to the Media Department. His writing and talents will be remembered for many years to come. Please join us in thanking Smee for his service to America.

Now, on to this week’s current events. America has had an exciting week! Together, we voted in our incumbent Country President and wiped an enemy off the map. Please read below for a full news story on these events.

President Trekker Victorious

On May 5th, all eUS citizens came to the polling booths to cast votes for this months Country President. This months election race was hotly contested and was an exciting campaign for all sides. Congratulations to President Trekker, carrying 49.94% of the vote, as compared to runner up SFP’s Wooky Jack, who carried 31.95% of the vote. Arrden of The Black Sheep Party, and of course, America’s favorite citizen, RGR, rounded out this months election. See below for specific details on the vote:

In addition, it should be noted that this month had a 6.2% increase in votes cast as compared to last month. For the April 5th election, only 748 votes were cast, while for the May 5th election, 795 votes were cast.

America Victorious against Indonesia

The recent war against the Indonesians, our former foe and current enemy, was extremely successful. The American flag has been raised in all territories of Indonesia, completely wiping the Indonesian islands off the face off the map and giving them that nice purple glow on your mini-maps that represents FREEDOM.

Although some of the early battles swayed in the favor of Indonesia, American dominance soon overtook the inferior Indonesian people. Several of the battles went epic, allowing for the 2x Prestige Points that we all love so much and more fighters flocked to the American side to fight for her quest of victory.

Thank you to all those Americans who fought bravely alongside our allies in Indonesia and our sympathies to those who paid the ultimate sacrifice during the battle. The bald eagle, with our Constitution in its beak, was seen flying over the Indonesian islands yesterday (reports come from USAF commanders in the Pacific).

Many Americans received numerous Battle Hero Medals, Campaign Hero Medals, and True Patriot Medals. Congratulations to all who were rewarded with such honors.

In an effort to increase Media Department writing, and to keep things both unique and interesting we’re inviting all eUS citizens to submit a section for the upcoming press releases to be included with the administration’s writing in the WHPR. Any and all experience levels are welcome to submit entries. Anyone who submits an entry will receive a small prize for doing so! You don’t even have to be selected to win a nice participation prize. Send your submissions to Tom Cauchon or Tyler Bubblar. They can be any type of writing about the eUS! Send us your creativity!
