[VOTE] Special Issue 1 – Wild War for WA! (October 30th – Day 710)

9 Day 710, 04:09 Australia
A Resistance War for the occupation of Western Australia has actually SUCCEEDED! Yes, for the first time since the Indonesian invasion, we can finally set foot on Western Australia and say, “this is our soil; as is the rest of our nation!” The glorious day has finally dawned in which the promised land has been liberated!

First of all, I must apologise for failing to print the newspaper last week; real life occupied me to the extent that I was unable to write. Well, I’ll make up for it with this SPECIAL EDITION of the newspaper!

Just 3 hours ago (at least at the time of printing), Western Australia was liberated by EDEN forces, comprised of troops from around the globe. According to a decision by the government, Australia did not officially side with the revolutionaries (in fact, our military was ordered to fight green), although I’m sure there are at least a few Aussies who snuck in a red attack or two...

As of now, the hold on Western Australia is still to be confirmed; Indonesia is no doubt going to be rather annoyed by this, and negotiations will in all likelihood proceed, and whether or not we keep WA will depend on the proceedings of the Senate meeting due to occur and any talks with Indonesia. The US, Canada, Spain and Romania have offered us protection pacts; that is, if we agree, they will protect us from any possible invasions of Western Australia.

Well, that’s all for now, as of now. I will update this article whenever some new information emerges. Issue 11 documenting the Congress Election results will be out tomorrow.

UPDATE AT 18:00: Patti11, our Prime Minister, has announced that thanks to a Senate meeting earlier today, Australia will be siding with EDEN thanks to a unanimous vote and uncertainty of the time to come. The protection pacts offered by numerous countries have also been approved, thus sealing the liberation of WA. This has also effectively placed it on the side of EDEN in World War 3.

Australia is also due to be removed from the Sol alliance due to the effects of the RW, and a vote will decide what will happen. Our Deputy Minister of Defence, srg91, has resigned from his position due to the events of today, and Cozza will be taking his place.

It seems like eAustralia has accepted the MPP with eUSA to help protect their sovereignty, and it looks like there is some movement of your country to join EDEN. I look forward to fighting alongside eAustralia int he future

Yeah, that's one of the big things which we have to take into account; although I'd say when we overcome the barrier it will be worth it in the long run, mainly in restoring the spirit of the nation.
